Running The Farmlands

I'm home today with the 3y.o. She was running a low-grade fever last night, so I was getting bored this morning, asked if she wanted to go for a ride. "Yup Daddy." she says all stuffed up.

So we get in my little truck and run the feild roads on the last bit of farmland in North Indio.(it's fallow now, the owner of the land is all tied up in debt) It is still really hard from the rains last week. We were doing 30-60 and scaring up coyotes left and right. Too much fun, the girl was laughing the whole time.Coyotes are really fat right now, and we got really close to a couple. They are really healthy now that the city limits has enclosed their area and you can't hunt them out there anymore. There were more than I'd deen since the early 80s. Lots of trash and pets to eat out there in the new subdivisions.They are living large, literally.

I can still hear Jillian laughing and saying "there'a another doggy daddy!"

both my kids are now 18 and 8year old, they

like to spend time in the computer and dont even

want to go out with parents?
