ErikW
You should have arbitrated that one for the confusing, non-standard range command.

Skywalker
I have a Tanfoglio (CZ clone) that I sometimes use for Production Division. It's fitted with a frame-mounted safety thus no decocking lever. I always thought that the safest and best way to decock the hammer was: 1. Pinch hammer between thumb and middle finger, while putting the index finger between hammer and slide. 2. Carefully squeeze the trigger, allowing the hammer to disengage the sear. 3. Accompany hammer to rest with thumb and middle finger, while retracting index finger. 4. Release the trigger. It should allow you to put the hammer completely at rest without ADs. ogiebb
thats also a good way do move it back to DA mode...but what the top cz shooters do is they improvise a thick wire to put between the hammer and slide so they just pull the trigger and they are all set...i should have dome this before...well ..........
