fiddler
The description for the Titanium Safety Plunger at SSS recommends gunsmith fitting. Is it a DIY or do I need a professional? I have never done any work whatsoever on any firearm that wasn't drop in parts though I am fairly handy at making things work. I want to keep it safe of course. kend
It SHOULD be a drop-in part, we have to put that gunsmithing thing in there to keep the lawyers happy.

MemphisMechanic
You have to remove the rear sight, and that's pretty much it. No, seriously.
G-ManBart
Mine dropped right in. The hardest part is getting the spring/cap lined up and held in place while you reinstall the rear sight. I popped for the little plastic tool for that, and it worked after I cut it in half (was blocking the sight pusher at full length). R,
