We are going to be having our first multi gun match at GTA.IT will be a 7 stage match.Round count is 90 pistol,32 birdshot, 22 slugs, and 80 rifle. Some stages will include all 3 guns, some only two, and 3 stages only require 1 gun. Match fee is $30.00 and registration has to be in by 24 September.Match will be open to the first 35 competitiors. Shooters meeting will start at 900 and shooting will begin at 930. Plaques will be awarded to the top 3 competitors in each division. If you are going to be shooting an open shotgun you might want to consider getting rid of the pistol grip stock. Start out in the stance u are going to be shooting from.Think of it like drawing ur pistol,the only thing u want moving are your arms.your recoil control was not bad though. when mounting the shotgun dont come straight up.swing the shotgun out slightly ,almost in a semi circle,so u can catch the pocket of ur shoulder and not get it caught in ur shirt.

Does anyone use or have used hp-38 to make 9mm major loads.If u have what charge did it take to make major. Thx Adam

I was wondering if anyone else has had trouble with the plating coming off Rainier bullets.I shoot an STI Edge.It looks the the bullets are key holing but what everyone around here thinks the plating is getting cut by the rifling in the barrel and its starting to come off in mid air. Try to make the draw 1 fluid motion. also the splits between paper and steel should be the same. Try to get ur draw times at 3yds down to the .8/.9's

We charge 20 for non members of the club and 15 for members. Re-shoots are 5. At the indoor range I work at its $10.00 for USPSA and IDPA. We used to to paybacks but there were about 3 of us that traded winning every week and people were getting pissed.So we just stopped doing paybacks and put more money into the club.

Color coordinated? Papa like I saw their booth at Area 6. Have you shot indoors with them yet? I actually work at an indoor shooting range and use them all the time. Sometimes when i shoot open it gets a little loud but with everything else they work great.

I started using slide glide(which u can get from the store here)on my open and limited gun. It works great, u can put it where u want to, it stays there, doesnt burn off like oil and doesnt spray u in the face and hands. Also it almost feels like there is less recoil.

I just had a pair of custom ear plugs made. They are very comfortable and i had them made in colors that matched my gear.They are not electronic, but you can still hear the buzzer ok. Plus you dont get as hot when u wear them oustide and u dont have anything around ur head and they keep out as much sound as muff's do.

I have a Rock River A4 with a 16" Barrel.It has the Jp rifle leangth free float hand gaurd, Vltor low pro gas block, Benny Cooley comp. There is hardly any recoil with the comp on there now and the rifle is still pretty light.

Does anyone know where to get flip up targets. The ones that flip up with a shoot and then a no shoot target right afterwords. thx

Has anyone had a problem with the mag pouches sliding around on your belt. I am using there belt, mag pouches and holster. If anyone has had that prob what did you do to fix it. thx

I just got a Trubor in 9mm major, as was wondering if anyone knows what weight springs to put in to shoot factory 9mm ammo. thx

ive been reloading .40's on my 550 for about 6 months

I was thinking of getting the Trubore and building it up.

I'm going to be getting my first open gun in the next couple of months and am not sure which caliber to get. I work in an indoor shooting range and can get 9mm once fired brass for free till the end of time but I have heard a lot of bad things about 9mm major. If you guys could help me out that would be great. Adam
