  1. Linda Chico handles the squadding and registration. She would know the numbers. However, she had to go out of town and may not be able to post that info until next week.
  2. Glad you got your pic Jack. The photographer is one of our regular shooters, Glenn Miller. He shot on Friday and took pictures for us on Saturday as part of the match staff. He does a great job. thanks, Alan. Please pass along my compliments to Glenn. Once more - to all the EAGC Crew, thanks for a fun match. I'll be back next year. Hope to see some of y'all next weekend at our Section match.
  3. Kudos to the photographers. Awesome pics. They almost made me look fast. I have been trying for months to get pics of the flame in my comp without success. Finally thanks to the skill of the photographers, I have my pic!
  4. Well said, John. Its funny, I get hounded by people asking me when I am going to post stages for my matches. I always cratch my head because truth be told, the only advantage gained is knowing a start position and the number of rounds. I don't see how any one could set the stages up and practice them because they would have no knowledge of the range to the targets, etc. A couple of years ago, I went to a local match a few weeks before our State championship. One of the crew there came over as I was looking a stage over. He asked, "Recognize it?" I responded, "What?" He says, "The stage. Its the one you designed for the state match." I said, "Really? I never would have known this was the stage I designed." It wasn't even close to what I had in mind or what ended up on the ground a few weeks later. Now I have set up "similar" stages for club matches so I can get a dry-run of a particular idea, but the final stage is never identical.
  5. Mark and EAGC, thanks for another great match. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next year.
  6. Friday start time will likely be between 8:30 and 9:00. Saturday will be NLT 8:00.
  7. That bay is 25 yards from the cover to the berm. The plate rack is easily 3-4 yards in front of the berm. The plate rack was only at about 20-22ish. However, challenge accepted. We do have a 40 yard bay. Texas star maybe.. Yeah, Lee gets credit for that one. If memory serves me correctly, I really burned that stage down.... NOT!
  8. it's not that, I just don't like the #13 stages look good,it was a joke !! Eddie, What if I set the steel at 13 yds??
  9. You want me to make it really difficult??? How about a usp at at 35yds on a start position?
  10. Heads-up: Linda got that match application up. You can find it here: http://www.lchico5u.com/SC-State.html I will update the USPSA calendar later today. Frank Thompson has agreed to be our Range Master. I hope to have stages approved shortly and we'll post them. Stay tuned...
  11. Update on 2012 South carolina Section Championship: The match fee will be $125.00. We are not having a banquest this year so this price will allow us to increase the cash pay-out to winners. Last year, we paid-out $12,000 to winners. The application should be up soon. The awards and cash will be given out at the range (in the juniors building) immediately following the match (and finalizing of the scores) on Saturday. Stay tuned for more info. I look forward to seeing everyone in the new year!
  12. Steve, Glad y'all enjoyed it! Sorry I couldn't visit very much and I apologize for the weather. I ordered 70 degrees but I forgot to put a hold on the wind.... South Carolina has a lot of horse farms. Mild winters. Very gun friendly state. Year round shooting. Longest deer season in the nation. C'mon down!
  13. The photographer who was at the range Saturday posted the first batch of pix. Here is a link to them: http://cesnsc.smugmug.com/Other/IPSC/19929423_75D6vZ#1568866025_9hW5fSz
