I am new to reloading so far I have only gone through 1lb of V V and one 1lb of Bullseye. I load .40sw to major on a dillion 650. anyways my comment was... the size of the granules on the bullseye were so small and flaky that the spilled out of the power measure bar when it moved back and forth and didnt flow to good though the measure makeing inconsistant loads. The VV granules were much better for loading but V V cost about 2x as much as other powders. However its super clean burning. I loading V V with montana gold CMJ and after 500 rounds my barrel still looked like i had just cleaned it. Im going to try titegroup next.

Thanks, I think im going to go with the dawson 5.5g Ice magwell and dawson + 5 base pads.

What keeps the slide from comming loose on the dawson base plase since there is no tool required? Sorry for the dumb question but im just curious.

Im trying to decide on what kind of base pad to buy for a glock 35 15 round magazine. From browsing online I have found the Dawson Precision +5 and the Arredondo +5. Dawsons is aluminium and the arredondo appear to be made of polymar. Other than that no significant diffence from what I can see. Anyone have a prefrence between these two or perhaps a diffrent brand. Money/price isnt really a consideration, I want quality equiptment. And while on this topic what about prefrence in Mag wells for glock 35. I will be shooting in Limited Div. thanks guys!

cool, thats what im hopeing for. I have to wait till tommorw to call them so for now im just stressing out with my finger crossed.

I just installed dawson adjustble fiber optic sights on my glock 35. I went to the range today to sight in the new sights. After shooting several rounds I backed out the top (up/down) adjustment screw on the rear sight. I then shot 2 more round and suddenly the rear sight had fliped up. Apperently the top adjustment screw flew out. I was at and out door range and after looking around around for it in the gravel I relized I wasnt going to find it and I was already getting on the RO's nerves for prowling around my bench when everyone else was still shooting. Does anyone have a any idea what my chances are of getting a new screw from dawson precision. Or am i going to have to buy a whole new rear sight?

Im relatively new to Ipsc. I shoot a glock 35 in L10. I have heard of dry fireing trigger kits that you can put in your glock that reset without haveing to rack the slide. does anyone know who sells one or how to make one?

I load .40 s&w to major. I haven't baught Brass yet. Just before I started reloading I picked up about 1,000 pieces from my local IPSC range after practice ended. Now everytime I shoot I try to pick up about the same ammount I shot if not a little more. So all my brass is misc brands and unknown number of times fired I throw it all in the tumbler then sort and inspect it once its shinny. Sometimes a few 9mm or .45 get past sorting but my casefeeder with small shell plate wont feed the .45 so it just stays in there and I throw it out before adding more brass. The 9mm will fall into a .40 case in the case feed tube on the way to the shell plate and jam me up for a second untill i clear it out. I dont know if its the smartest way of doing things but its fast and cheap. Im still very new to this only been reloading and shooting ipsc for about 2 months. Which is probably why some 9mm and .45 still get past my visual inspection.

Im just on the opposite side of the sunday activity change. I played competative paintball for the last 5 years. I played every single sunday and some weekdays with a team and traveled to events all over the US. We were pritty good but didnt win any events. When summer started I got really burned out and stopped playing. I havent touched a paintball gun in at least 3 months. I just discovered practical shooting. So I got rid of all my paintball gear and purchased a dillon 650, glock 35 and cr speed gear with ghost holdster. I have become a regualar at the local IPSC range shooting L10. I guess change can be good for everyone no matter which way you're going or comming. I might go back to play some paintball for fun someday, but for now IPSC is my new focus.

Im setting up a Glock 35 for L10 in California so I dont want to go over the 10 round capacity. However I do want to run a mag well. I need an extended base plateso that I can slam the mags in. Does anyone know who makes a +0 mag base plate extension? Thanks in advance!
