  1. What i did was bought one of those big Marks A lot marker and taped it to a peace of cardboard and put the bullet on the cardboard primer facing up and just twist it while pressing it against the mark so it make a big dark line on the side of the case. which gets taken off when you tumble the brass to reload it again. I use black seems to work well. I have also heard that green and red are real visable also.

  3. For dry fire drills can the CED be set low enough on the buzzer not to wake the dead? I live in a duplex so volume is a concern. Also I believe it has configurable sensitivity, can it be set sensitive enough to pickup striker/hammer drop while dryfiring at home?

The CED keeps sounding better. Compared to the PACT what do you give up feature wise beside the chronograph and the keypad??? Anything I'd be kicking myself over later?

I just got my 7000 a few days ago to me it is very easy to figure it out. when you press the menu button first thing you can select is the delay on when the timer goes off which you can set to random which is from 5 seconds to 2 seconds randomly choosing which i like for when i dry fire. As for the beep sound when you scroll further done on the main menu you can select buzzer volume which you have 2 to choose from which is normal the really load one and the Soft which is what i use when i dry fire " doesn't scream at you" As for the sensitivity i have played with it a little it gives you a choice from 1 to 8 Eight being the most sensitive. only time i it would pick up the hammer drop is when it was on my wrist and the mic was facing the gun. Like said above purchase the silicone skin for it! very good insurance. So far i have enjoyed the timer very small i stick it in my mag pouch while dry firing so its easy to start and its out of the way. " I haven't purchased the belt clip yet haha" Hope this helps you some

  4. I have heard the same about adobe "premier i think it is" and at the same time have used Pinnacle for some school projects very simple to use. At the same time i am doing some editing for another project for class which i am using my professors Ibookpro with Final Cut pro which is another awesome program. He is trying to convert me from windows to Mac Operating system. Which is working pretty wellll haha

  5. Heres my reloading area its in the garage. We had some drawers made a long time ago and when i picked up this sport and reloading i cleared one of them out for my reloader so this is where i reload for super 40 and 45acp

  6. #10. You can trade an old 44 for a new 22.

#9. You can keep one gun at home and have another

for when you're on the road.

#8. If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will

probably let you try it out a few times.

#7. Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another

    gun for a backup.

#6. Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo

#5. A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

#4. Guns function normally every day of the month.

#3. A gun doesn't ask , "Do these new grips make me look fat?"

#2. A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it.

And the number one reason a gun is favored over a woman....

#1. YOU CAN BUY A SILENCER FOR A GUN

  7. Try this shot or could make it into a sipper .5 oz butterscotch Liqueur .5 of baileys and if you want a splash of kahlua. Pretty smooth tasting if your a butterscotch person you will like it.

Sounds an awful lot like a Buttery Nipple.

Thats exactly what it is haha local guy does the shot in layers and poors a little bit of kahlua on top try it he renamed it "lung biscuit" haha

  10. I've had really good luck w/ "the infamous black bullet" - the moly coated Precision Bullets 185gr TC bullet. They're about $60/K delivered from http://www.precisionbullets.com - delivered. And, David Long (the owner) supports our sport!!!

Slightly smoky, but nowhere near like lead, and it does not appear to be the toxic, thick, sweet tasting lead cloud, but a funky smelling stuff that dissipates quite quickly...

They seal the bore better than jacketed and thus use less powder to attain the same velocity - so they're cheaper in that fashion, too... ;)

Hello i was wondering what powder you are loading the black bullets with TG????

  11. Lots & Lots of good info on this website. I think Phil Terry uses (at least used to use) Universal Clays for his .40 loads... Might PM him.

And...I use Precision Black bullets and TG..love em. Start around 4.0-4.1 and work up to about 170 PF at 1.18 - 1.20. Great combo!

Hello merlin i have another question for you haha. I was wondering what kinda of smoke you get from the precision "black"bullets using titegroup. i have read some where that you get some smoke when using black bullets is it true? only reason i ask is because most or the shooting that is done down here is indoors every tuesday and only out doors once a month.

  12. Speaking as one of the TRUE hardcore single stack shooters. There is only one mag to own. McCormick 10mm mags! 18,000 round and no problems! I have used them in 3 different guns!

Listen to the MASTER of SINGLE STACK area 4 champ in SS Mark s. HAHAHA

  13. If you are talking about Precision Black Bullets... Nope.. Crap collects in the comp making them a poor choice.

Yes i was talking about the precision black bullets not the delta precision. Thanks for the super quick reply!!! i have seen you post to almost all of the questions that i have ever posted/asked. Thanks again. Saw that you are planning on making it down to the single stack match here in Pharr texas. looking forward to meeting you and hopefully making it up to CC for a match or two
