i broke mine last week! before the screw it was the pin at the front of the sight. I got a set of Bomar brand sites. they say those are best that you can get and last the longest! hopefully they will. Haha i shot the last 3 targets on that stage with the rear sight bouncing up and down. sure is hard to get a sight picture when ur sight moves up and down haha..

I was wondering what does sho/who mean?

I have a scope mount here, belongs to a guy I shoot with sometimes. NICE fella. Anyway, money is tight for him with a kid in college and life happening everyday.....
Scope mount holes were stripping, one was toast and the other was really soft feeling. Rather than tell him he had to buy a new mount to finish his gun I tried to fix it. Ended up drilling the holes out, hitting them with a taper reamer, and then turning some aluminum thread plugs to approximately the same angle. They angle up from the bottom, and taper about .025" in the thickness of the mount. To come out they will have to be swaged through the hole. Seems like it will work, time will tell. I thought it might help someone else out at some point.
Some basic pictures, sorry in advance for the quality of the pics.....
looks like a good deal. haha i would have done it the harder/possibly easier weld it up mill it flat and tap it. but then again not every one has the access to a tig welder and mill. Besides that what yea did was a great job sure does save some one 75 dollars for a new mount. i just graduated in may 07 and i still cant seem to get a job an 75 dollars is something i rarely have at this point in time. hopefully my interview tomorrow goes well and ill be working at a bank soon.

Been trying this recently:
Pull up next to a person stopped at a red light who is talking on their cellphone. When the light turns green, don't move until they do. In more than half the cases, the person on the phone will just sit there in front of a green light, talking on the cellphone, until somone honks or moves.
Its amazing; they can be staring right at the green light, but they are so distracted by that damn phone that the don't even see what's right before their own eyes. Try it and see if you notice the same thing.
Thats sounds like fun. I'll have to try that. I'll report back with my findings.
+1 thats pretty funny never thought of doing that

Thread drift more here
HSMITH is right mini mills will need many small passes to remove material. Set up is critical and I would tram the thing multiple times with a dial indicator to make sure everything was straight.
So yeah a mini mill can work but if you shop around and have the space you can do better for not too much more money. When my mini mill broke down and I was shopping for a replacement and was looking at a slightly larger benchtop mill. After allot of looking and factoring in shipping for a new one I went looking on ebay. I found this 10 year old Sharp 25 miles from my home, its a 3hp 9" x 42" variable speed with power feed and DROS. I got it for $1,900. I have some learning to do but after seeing what these mill typically sell for and how long they last I figure if I get tired of using it I can probally sell it for what I paid or maybe more. Food for thought.
Lol that looks like a nice low pro jack behind the mill

You could maybe buy her a new custom Bedell Limited and also a Brazos Open gun but you may have to "borrow" them for awhile to make sure they are functioning ok.
Good idea!! haha better pull out 2 or 3 credit cards lol
i was in the same position you were about 8 months ago. She ended up getting a Smith & Wesson 22A with a huge campbell soup can red dot scope on top. that gun was only shot for a month before she plunged and bought her self a svi open gun! so now i have to reload for 38super and 40 for me. o well its fun im glade she likes to shoot! Let her shoot all the guns she can get her hands on and let her choose what she likes best.

I've seen it somewhere before and I can't seem to find it?
Why dont you get some dawson followers they are cut so they dont activate the stop. or just grind/cut the corner off that pushes the stop up on the follower.
