I have a glock34 and I need a C-More STS 7moa sight with glock adaptor, a KKM or Briley barrel and comp, a magwell, a full length steel guide rod, and I need it shipped to Canada. Does anyone on this forum ship to Canada?

I would like to shoot 9mm major in my glock 34. I am considering cutting and threading a 17L barrel. Has anyone tried a Glock barrel in 9mm major ? Or perhaps I'd be better off with a KKM or a LWD barrel.

I shot a Czechmate last week. Very nice gun. Comes with C-more and 3 barrels, and I think 4 mags. About 3400.00 Canadian. Trigger is crisp with no creep, about 3.5 pounds, but a 13 pound hammer spring will bring it down to 2-ish pounds. Sight recovery is good for me. Cz claims that the gun is hand fitted. I believe it. Very nice gun to shoot.

The striker leg might be dragging on the trigger bar on the way down if you do not have enough over travel.

I have a new Glock 35 and I want to shoot 165pf. What spring weight do you use and why? Tks in advance.

Uh, why didn't you ask the manufacturer? They MIGHT know.
I always prefer to ask someone who actually has one and uses one rather than ask someone who is selling something. Get my drift ?
-
Why do you ask?
I was wondering if the safeties could be defeated accidentally, something I definitely do NOT want to do.

Is it possible to adjust a Glockworx trigger to the point where the striker safety no longer works?

slide rails
in Glock
The rails are actually the "ends" of a U-shaped metal piece that is cast into the frame during molding. It is easy to envision the front rails because you can actually see the bottom of the "U" in the two square holes inside the dust cover, just in front of the slide lock spring. The rear is more difficult to visualize, because it's not a true "U" in the classic sense. The metal connecting the two rear rails extends down the backstrap a little bit and into the beavertail a bit.
I hope that this is what the OP was looking for.
Thank you, this is what I was looking for. My idea might work...........

So, does anyone know how deeply the four rails are embedded into the frame?

slide rails
in Glock
I know about the banging on the slide part.,,,,. What i need to know is how far down the frame the four slide rails are embedded..... I would like to get rid of the creep that occurs when the slide lifts off the frame at the end of the trigger pull without banging on the slide........I have a nice two pound trigger with all glock parts except for the four pound striker spring and I just want to get rid of that last little bit of creep....

slide rails
in Glock
Do not try to bend the rails on the frame, trust me that is not the ticket to tighten up the slide to frame fit. To tighten the slide to frame fit you work on the slide and you have to know what your doing. Tightening the slide can enhance accuracy depending on your barrel fit, but will mostly help your trigger.Tim
Yeah, it's about eliminating creep.......

slide rails
in Glock
There are four rails on the frame portion of the Glock, two in front and two in back that the slide moves on. Does anyone know how far down the frame these rails go? Has anyone tried bending them down to tighten up the frame to slide fit?

I have 2 Shadows and both had problems out of the box. CZ sets their guns up to run on S&B ammo, if it's not +P it's pretty hot ammo. Recoil spring is I think 18# and hammer spring is I think 16#. I change out the recoil springs to 14# and 11# for minor PF and I change out the hammer spring to 15# -3 coils or to 13#. I polish out the chamber and deburr as necessary like I would for any other gun and they run just fine. I wore out the barrel of my practice gun after 60+ thousand rounds and I think I had 1 stove pipe with that gun (in a match of course) but I may have limp wristed that time. Keep them reasonably clean and they are pretty reliable.

I'm a newbie and it is a serious question. Is the frame steel or alloy and the grip/trigger guard a plastic modular sleeve ?
-
I was looking at a picture of one and it looks like the trigger guard is plastic.........
-
Does the S_I 2011 with the plastic frame make a a good open gun? I'm just wondering about plastic vs steel frame.

Has anyone here tried an open glock in 357 sig? If so, does it shoot flatter than the 9mm? Mag capacity is not an issue for me.
-
I have a G17 with a LWD barrel, 9mm of course. Does anyone know if that barrel can be rechambered to 357 SIG?
-
Does anyone know where I can get a seidler mount for a G17?

I've been snookered into going to Las Vegas in late August. I have no interest in gambling or Cirque du Soleil or 120 degree heat or any of those $150 per head concerts. But I am interested in GUNS. I live in Canada and I've never seen a Glock 35. I've never seen an HK or a Ruger pistol. I've never seen an STI gp6 or a SIG all around. Never seen an EAA or a Kahr and lots of others. So, are there any good gun shops in Vegas? Perhaps an IPSC store?

How many comp ports are necessary for 9mm major ? Also, are side ports necessary or useful?
