  1. Superdude Thank you for the very informative response. Very much appreciated. Two of my mags are new para 9mm. They have the rounded follower and the long crease. Four others must be 38 super bodies. Funny but three of the super mags have followers with the same shape as the .45 follower in the picture.
  2. I have the Arredondo inserts and Dawson bases. Does anyone make a good follower like the Grams that will keep spring pressure under the front of the follower?
  3. Grams engineering followers. Hate spellcheck
  4. The gun and mags are para ord. The problem is the magazines when full sound like a box of bolts when you shake them. The top round has no support from below. So when the slide hits the round it plows down and into the feed ramp. I have several para magazines they have two differently shaped followers. Some on the front edge they round down. Others slant slightly upward all the way to the front of the magazine. I am already loading long w Montana gold 124s , just wondering if some of you use spacers in the front of your magazines to keep bullets lined up better without getting loose in the Magazine. Which are the best followers for para magazines? Just went through this with my SV and had six new mags that followers would not come up to top of magazine reliably. Bought Forams. Followers and springs a MOTO tool to reileve metal , and now they work fine. Grams said he did not make followers for para mags yet.
  5. Where can I obtain them?
  6. Where can I obtain them?
  7. Does anyone make proper mag followers or functioning mags for para 9 major. After spending over 2 grand 1 still have a single shot pistol. Do the 9 mm mags need spacer whims in front? If down loaded from 18 to about 12 then they work. Any ideas?
  8. hi Does anyone out there still have an old vv reloading booklet? I would really like to get a scan of the 9mm, 38 super, 9x21 pages. 10 or 12 year old issues. Thanks Oz
  9. use them for practice and leave them lay. most ikely they will all work anyway. Good luck Oz
  10. 2400 is great for 44 mag and 357 mag but requires high bullet pull (friction) crimp to fully ignite. if you get it to work you'll probably have an issue with unburned powder jamming up the works.
  11. I've been shooting casting and reloading for 34 years. What I have always found, If you get a lymann manual, for each bullet weight and type, for every caliber, they list a factory duplication load and the potentially most accurate load. This information has saved me untold hours of trial and error. 90% of the time great loads too. Good Luck This reply is for rifle shooter sorry
  12. just shot a few hundred rounds thru my major 9 this morning. 7.5 gr. of vhit n350 with a win sm rifle primer, and 124 berrys hp, 124 win fmj, 115 nosler jhp, 115 rem jhp. and I was very suprised that the 124 fmj winchesters grouped by far the best in my gun. Nowlin barrel comped maj. 9 built by canyon creek. ps mixed once fired brass.
  13. Canyon Creek is a one man operation. He did a fantastic trigger job on my .40 xd. I use it for games not a duty type weapon. sweetest trigger i own.
