Just received my 1100 hundred back from Shawn Carlock wow I cannot wait to go to the range. The reload are going to be so much easier the trigger is smooth and you should se the loading gate the man does nice work. He is shouting nationals if any one sees him ask him to look at his 1100. As soon as I learn how to post pictures I will definitely post them.

Okay I decided to build a .40 limited gun. I need some opinions on slide manufacturers, barrels, and the rest of it triggers, hammers and ETC. and for some reason now that I am looking for a good frame I cannot find one does any one have a secret place (the secret used double stack stash web site)lol. I looked on Dawson site. And they are about 450 is that a good price or should I continue the search. What should I expect to pay for a used one? PS also their are two different frames one edge like and the other is eagle like any preferences?

The best SS is the one that is 100% reliable accurate and comfortable for you. The manufacturer almost does not make any difference. I have a Kimber that has about 7-8K , colt that I got from an older gentleman that probably has 20 or more k, but my favorite is a gun built by a small company in CT . I will never be able to shoot what that gun is capable . but they are all 100-99.9 % reliable. Good luck in your decision SS is a lot of fun.

Well for the game side of it I completely agree .40 is the way, meager caliber and high capacity. But there is nothing like a sweet sump of a .45. I now compete in have metal, iron man with a single stack .45. Just want to try tactical game.

I believe if you go to XD forum one of the forum sponsors does sell +1 or + 2 I do not remember I have +2 for 9mm. But that would give you only 14 round at best in limited kind of low? I am just trying to learn.

Hey thanks for that mike. No for production I have a grate XD tactical. But if I go for14-45 does that not put me behind the curve in round count? And I have not seen one of the paras 16-40 with work done for that price. If you see one please pass it a long.( I hope I can say this in this forum).

Hay, hay exports. I am trying to decide on a limited/ 3gun tactical gun. Is their a gun I can get under 1K??? besides Glock. And the second question If I decide to stay with .45 over .40 what am I loosing, and how grate is the loss. I tried to figure out the 140-170mm mag. I do not know what that means I need rounds not mm. Thanks. P.S. yes I am new to USPSA.

Well I will just Have to get one of each (haha). But I think I am leaning tour’s a dsa fal I have never shout one but it fit well in my hands when I was at the gun shop. And the dealer raved about it, over any other .308. It is not a cheap gun and I do not know any one that has one. It seemed a lot liter than the bush or ar10. I hate this decision-making. I just wish their was a place to try averting on the market.

what is the most often used .308 @ 3 gun Heavy metal / iron man.

Thanks that is very good advice. I am getting very interested in (heavy metal , and iron man) divisions. I am going to shot one next month. The only thing is for this one I have to use a minor rifle and I will but for the next. Which is area 7 in mass I will need a .308 and I do not have one. Does any one have any Ideas on a good one. Thanks to all of yours prodding I found a lot of info on a AR but there is not much on .308. thanks

I guess what I am asking is if one gun is minor than all of your score are scored as minor. So why not use 9mm glock for example with +6 base pad = 24rounds or any other double stack or even a lower caliber shot gun . Ammo cheaper also

I am new to this game so I have questions. Regrettably I am not made out of money and cannot experiment with different guns. So as my father said other people’s expereions is cheaper then gaining your own. So the question is if you are starting from beginning knowing what you know. What would you get for 3 gun AR Thanks. PS I hope I can post this question here I am confused if .223 is minor caliber how come if I use .45 and a 12g I am shooting major??? Would I not need .308
