Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Seriously thinking about it - I use a Color Nook right now that I rooted and modified to run full Android. It's a bit slow so I'm curious how much faster the fire's dual core will be. I really like the 7" form factor - for me the IPAD and other 10" tablets are too big for the casual reading I use them for.
  2. Yea, I got tired of being jealous of all you guys and your BHFFs so I ordered one of my own. Came last week, worked up some loads and shot my first match with it today. Not even broken it yet but it ran like a champ. Worlds different than the Para 16-40LTD I've been running for the past 10 years. Didn't realize there was a picture post rule for all Bennys - so I will proudly comply....
  3. Well, after years of pushing 200gr Billy Bullets with 4.2g of N320 through my Para 16-40LTD. I drank the cool-aide and called Benny for a Fat-Free 6". Here's some of the first loads that I used to pop the cherry on this blaster. 170gr Precision OAL 1.180 mixed brass WSP's BHFF 6" 4.2gr Solo 1000 Average Vel:932.7 Stdev:12.3 PF: 158.5 4.6gr Solo 1000 Average Vel:1009.3 Stdev:9.9 PF: 171.5 Elevation:~1500ft Air Temp: 97 F Gonna Try the major load in a match tomorrow to see how this bad boy handles.
  4. Ordered mine November 09. Received it last week. Installed it yesterday. Took it to the range today. 1.) Yes the finish is as bad as everybody else here has said. (They should really change the pictures on their website if they don't intend on making that way, it's pretty deceptive. 2.) The trigger is very narrow, and has some rough edges (Again not like the nicely finished and radiused trigger pictured on their website.)..> 3.) Trigger was a breeze to install in my DPMS lower. 4.) Trigger was not compatible with my DPMS high ride upper - Nothing an end mill could clear up (Had to clearance the upper a bit 5.) First pull of the trigger and all I could say was WOW - Sweet. (coming from a stock trigger) Shot about 200 rounds at the range and had 4 occurrences where The trigger wouldn't reset - Moving the fire selector from FIRE to SAFE to FIRE again seemed to reset it. I don't know what's going on but it really put a damper on my enthusiasm for this trigger especially with the amount of money spent on the unit, There's not enough of these out there to see if anyone else has seen this. I just hope there customer service is faster than their delivery!! I got the Mystery Mountain match next month - think I'd be better off throwing the stock unit back in until after the match.
