TIP:
If anyone finds this thread looking to solve a static build-up problem whip all plastic down with dryer sheet to remove the static. Then take some tin foil and line the powder drops funnel with it. This has solved my static build up problem and you can form the foil in the bottom to help to assist accurate metering
I've had the same problem with my LNL press and solved it by using a like a 1/8 inch X 12inch brass rod on top of the primers to weigh them down now it feeds 100%.
I've been shooting low powered loads and I'm having leading problems.
The Alloy is 2% tin, 8% antimony mix, I would like to now what alloy mix would be best for low power loads using TG? What manufactures supply a good bullet for this purpose?
I need to buy some 8rd magazines for my 45 and would like to have enough to compete with and not worry about magazines. My question is what’s the minimum amount of magazines you would recommend and what amount do most of you guy’s have in your range bag at a competition? I now you can’t have enough but you get the idea of what I’m looking for.
I should add this is a stock full size Colt. What I wont to do is shoot light target loads to help reduce recoil and hopefully helps stop flinching. It sounds like if I pick a load in the miner power factor range that would be what I wont. But I don't really now where or how to start this.
I'm presently using an 18lb spring and would like to try using a 10lb spring. How can I estimate a safe starting load for a light spring?
Components I use for 45ACP
LSWC 200 grain
Titgroup 5.0
or Clays 3.6
Winchester primers
I’m looking into purchasing one some time this year. I’m wondering if the press includes everything except the dies and components to make bullets? Dues anyone have a list of items the press ships with?
I already have the Lee Anniversary Kit sow I wouldn’t need to upgrade the scale yet.
