  1. I'll try that when I go to the range this week. Thanks!
  2. It doesnt really recoil much? I have no issues keeping the dot on target. I mean it's no 38sc, but I can definitely feel a differance between the stock version and the comp'd version. As far as shooting I have no idea. I just put the gun out there and squeeze the trigger
  3. Just take the entire thing out. It's a tiny threaded rollpin. A small flat headed screwdriver is all you need.
  4. I just use cheap walmart ammo. That was essential for me because I'm lazy and refuse to spend tons of money on ammo
  5. I've been running mine without the factory bolt release, almost since I bought it. Works perfectly
  6. I had this issue and just removed the factory bolt release. For some reason the factory bolt release was in the way of the hammer actually striking the firing pin
  7. Bolt release is shaped weird so it pushes the hammer like 3mm back so it doesnt strike the firing pin. Also if you have a charging handle on there you would never use the bolt release
  8. Sounds like you got it all figured out. I just dont see the trigger on the shotgun being a huge upgrade. For ars and pistols I get it and have done both, I just dont see the advantage in doing that to a shotgun.
  9. I mean getting a softer shooting shotgun equals faster follow up shots. The same just cant be said for the trigger. I'd buy one if it were 85$ anything higher than that and im simply not interested. I'll wait till elfman or any other company comes out with an affordable one
  10. i feel like with the ar you need a clean trigger for fast follow up shots/controlled pairs with shotgun you are either shooting steel and its falling over or paper with a slug once....dont exactly need a clean polished trigger for that
  11. I can understand a 300$ ar trigger....cries in Calvin elite trigger
  12. Just fyi Zeo Toxon makes great thermal wrap that's perfect for the vr80
  13. No 28 rd mags? How do you shoot 26 rd stages with no reloads?
  14. Anyone know an affordable place that would port my barrel without keeping it for 166 weeks?
  15. Ported barrel AND 3.5 lb metal weight in the form of long comp= flattest shooting vr80 this side of the Mississippi
  16. Mid barrel mixed with end of barrel comp! Paint flames on it to go even faster
  17. I agree with that, but the point was to illustrate that giant meaty comps work well
  18. Pig breaks work. Look at the sjc titan. Gigantic but works. Look at any if the mid barrel breaks for dissident arms. I dont mind hanging a 15 lb slab of metal off my barrel if it means not feeling any recoil. That being said, for being more lightweight, the taccom solution did an ok job of breaking the recoil. Normally for comps that are both lightweight and small in size you would not expect it to break the recoil as much as it did
  19. Ive never had need for a pattern that tight for me and the shotgun stages I run max recoil reduction is the better option. I guess it depends on your specific shotgun stages
