  1. Hello flexmoney, I just think on an international level. USPSA and IDPA is US only (as I know). Also I think a brand new shooter will get frustrated about BC. I see the challenge in BC for people who are able to put 6 rounds into the AZone of an IPSC target on Command. And not people learning to hit what they aim for at all. And, again my opinion, this isn´t a game for people used to shoot on targets wearing Tshirts. (take no offense on this one) But to advance one´s marksmanship abilities BC is a perfect tool and game. However: I agree on getting as much new people as possible. Why can´t all these Organisations just use basically same or close rules about gun categories ? There are (really are) people who can´t purchase just a differnet gun for every comp they wan´t to attend.
  2. Hello, instead of creating another new class, I would suggest just to adapt the IPSC production rules. And very essential: make production a seperate category beside Metallic Greets Wolfgang
  3. What a thread !!!??? There seem to be more people caring about Bianchi than I´ve actually seen in Columbia last week. Good so far. But beside complaining about not being able to shoot the match locally, you guys who know the game should organize a tryout / workshop about Bianchi Shooting t your Range. As soon as people have tried it, some if not most (with some interest in competition) will stick to it. After our Organisation here in Germnay brougth our National Cup from 200+ comps down to 40, we the shooters took over and started again. After 2 Newcomer Workshops in the last 1/2 year we now have again around 100 active BC shooters, resulting in 14 people coming from Germany to Columbia ! Next month will be our National BC and the 60 slots are already full. If you pro´s help new guys to a start, then the rest will do itself. Just an example: one of the newbies, André Schröder, shot his 3rd Bianchi Match in life over at the Chapman Academy. He started in Jan06, before he was only shooting 1500. The Evening before the Match he practiced the Plates together with Rob L. only to clean them next day and finally shot for Xcount together with Rob again. Where else can you do that ?????? See here: André and Rob Greetings from Germany Wolfgang
  4. Hello there, coming back from the Cup I was ckecking the Forum and found this old Thread. If you not already have bought a 6" slide I would like to show you my Teammates gun. See pict attached. Instead of using a long slide and mill it out you go with a 5 inch plus a Barrelweight. Kind of old style design but it appeals to me also. Shown gun has it´s slide milled out internally and also an additional weight on the Frame. All following the idea nonmoving mass heavy and moving mass light. The gun feels remarkably easy during recoil and recovery of target is also very good. Just a suggestion. 02062006: couldn´t get the attachment uploaded ??? now included pict as a link: picture
  5. I just converted an Open Gun from C-More to a mounted Docter Sight. The result was really satisfying and proved to be better. (my opinion) Details can be seen on: http://www.wnothnagel.atactics.de/html/ind...hp?id=ipscsopes could translated via google translation service, it really works What now happened is bad news: after only less than 2000 rounds the Docter broke ! Failure in internal wiring, looks like a thin cable broke. Now my question to other Docter users. I have the idea that several people are using them even slidemounted. That should be much more torture to the scope. Did I just have a bad scope or are the Docters just not reliable ? I have noticed the bulletproof service from Beven Gram. Is this the way to go ? Please let me know what your experience with the reliability of Docters are. Greetings from Germany, Wolfgang
  6. Hello, I see there are more people around looking for options to the cmore. After having used Aimpoints and Cmores for a while we now are testing the docter with a mount. please see my detailed review of this at: My Webpage OK, it´s german only, but U will get the idea probably from the picts itself. Greetings from Wiesbaden, and c u at the Bianchi Cup in Columbia. This great match needs more shooters !
