Shot my first SCSA match yesterday. I shot PCCO with a Palmetto State Armory 16” 9mm carbine. It was an awesome time! Below are my results. 60.84 total on 5 stages showdown 12.22 Pendulum 14.66 Smoke and hope 11.37 Accelerator 11.33 Roundabout 11.26 I’ve never had more fun shooting in my life. Lawrence County Sportsman’s Assoc in Wampum PA put on a great shoot. Laid back atmosphere and many great folks.

I'm a forward mount guy myself. We made our own 10" and 12" steel plates and also made stands and mounts and cut some 5' and 6' 2x4's to set up practice Steel Challenge. We shot pendulum, 5 to go and roundabout last night after work. Man the PCC is sure fun! I also shot them with my SW22 victory. Can't wait until Saturday for my first "official" Steel challenge match. Shooting PCCO and RFPO.

I'm in eastern Ohio, Harrison County, about 20 miles west of Steubenville. AKA the hill country of Ohio! hahaha

Been lurking here for a while getting a lot of good info. A group of us have recently signed up for our first Steel Challenge match. I've been shooting all my life and have served the last 18 years in law enforcement. I've worked road patrol, drug task force, road patrol sergeant and now I'm a Sgt in the Detective division. I shot registered sporting clays up until a couple years ago when my local club closed. I'm shooting RFPO and PCCO divisions in Steel Challenge. Shooting an SW22 Victory with a Vortex Venom 3MOA sight with a Volquartsen carbon fiber barrel with forward blow comp. For PCCO I have a Palmetto State Armory 9mm 16" carbine with a Vortex Sparc AR sight. I have 5 mags for the SW22 and 4 Glock 33rd mags for the PCC. We are in the process of making our own plates so we can set up some of the courses and knock the rust off. Look forward to gathering good info here. Thanks in advance!!!

I've got a Gen 2 PSA 9mm lower coupled with a 16" PSA 9mm upper. All it does is go bang! No issues whatsoever. Shooting my first PCCO steel challenge April 21st. I have a Vortex Sparc AR red dot sight on it and 4 Glock 33 round mags.
