Did you tap the side of the die? Sometimes the lever inside gets stuck at “full”

No idea, I just took it off and went through 3000pcs with a primer pocket tool attached to a drill. Ugh. I now have an empty station on the swage die, it’s unnecessary with supercomp.
I should have known there was an issue with a 6 or 7 clutch setting but I’ve never used a swage hold down die.

I have always just assumed it was either for a double or no charge. I’ve had a no charge once or twice for some unknown reason (digital powder measure).

I’ve seen the laser check stuff but I don’t see the need for the little I load (135,000 in 3yrs).
As for the FW die my swage one broke? All I know is I didn’t notice, cranked up the clutch and deformed the primer pockets of thousands of supercomp

I was loading 3grns of n320 behind a 165gr projectile so I’m assuming it wasn’t enough to burn completely.
Currently using the same load for 231
My quick search revealed 244 is harder to find and more $ than 231.

In my revolver n320 was a LOT dirtier than 231. I could see instantly my brass was cleaner when I switched (only because I ran out of 320 and it’s currently unobtanium)
Cheaper AND cleaner? Win win.

Given 244 is more dense, I assume it will be cheaper per round?
I've got 24lbs of 231 so this is more for curiosity than anything

I had some issues with the FART. Kinda
I would heat up the used Brass Juice mix and sometimes I forgot and it went in the tumbler HOT. This stretched out the seals and they don't sell new ones (anymore). Turns out just cutting the excess does the trick. (it's hard as %%%% to put the lid on with a oversize seal)
And one day I forgot about it and it cooled down and collapsed the tub. So I bought a spare FART and used the new tub. Then years later I found the stashed collapsed tub and it went back to it's original shape!

It's been a few years now and I run my supercomp at 1730 rpm (actual) and 9mm revo at 2506.
My paddle fell off the primer disc and am too lazy to glue it back so I have a pick and watch the primers and pick off the sideways ones. It was those that would jam at the paddle anyway.
My primer orientation sensor is still hit an miss and IMO needs a redesign.
Has Mark7 issued any new upgrades for the revo/evo pro?

I like the stay active during a match. I didn't realize how important this was until the last L3 up here where the patching and resetting was all done by the RO's. And you couldn't go in front the lines they set up 20' behind the stages so I couldn't even look for supercomp.
2 minutes after shooting the first stage I said to someone "I'm bored". It was a long dull day with mediocre shooting.

All my barrels and comps are TiN coated. Easy to clean. But I shoot JHP and 3N38 but it does get dirty
I use brass picks and Boretech C4 carbon cleaner. Helps when Amazon confuses 1 box with 1 pack. I’ve enough picks to last a lifetime
I’m not loosing any of the coating in my comps.

My wife’s guns are magnaported. I think it might do something as ICORE wanted action shots and I went through the videos and noticed there was a slight decrease in the height of the gun during recoil compared to the stock gun.
But with oversized coated projectiles she is forever soaking and picking away at the ports.

I know a 929 shooter who uses syntech and i can hear the different power loads when he shoots. As far as I know these are all from the same box. I thought he was having issues with his powder measure until he told me he was using factory ammo.
As for the 6.5” barrel I thought it was for making the 929 a highly accurate gun due to its sight picture/radius (or whatever it’s called)?
The comp, yea I’m not sure if it was failure of design/execution or a marketing gimmick. Or all 3?

If you go digging back to the Icore unoffical page Dave H from Blue Ridge is running their falling steel match the weekend before the IRC, then Monday setting up a falling steel irc practice running Tuesday/Wednesday.
The practice match and the big knockdown steel match aren't listed yet.
It's an 8hr run one way. But with that much shooting, hell yes we will be there.

Too much traveling I'm afraid. But we will do the Blue Ridge match followed by their IRC warmup then the IRC.

I only tried out a 9 major gun once and the dot was dancing all over the place. SV and Limcat sell guns with 2 top ends but at thousands extra when will you ever break even? Considering you’ll need a 2nd toolhead which for a mark7 ain’t cheap either.
A few guys up here have a match 38 and practice 9. That’s a lotta $$$$
