Warnings are the norm. You need to earn a ticket. I've been pulled over 3-4 dozen times, only received 4-5 tickets.

Can you fly into NYC with guns and hi cap magazines?
No, even without the mags you are asking for trouble at NYC airports.

When I order anything it's generally for 10k primers and enough powder to fill the 10k cases. Anything less is not cost effective.

Wideners has winchester spp for $109 for 5k.

How do you have the primer tubes attached to the case feeder?
Very nice reloading room btw...

I'm not sure what a 220 trimmer is.
The Dillon 1200/1500 trimmer sizes and trims at the same time.

Many people run a lock ring under the tool head for the reason mentioned. There is no issue with it.

It's a good day!

A match that won't let a card carrying uspsa member shoot without question, should not be sanctioned.
I assumed the policy was for shooters who have never shot a match before, not experienced USPSA shooters.

-- and I'm confident that USPSA HQ won't overturn that decision.
I hope it would be left alone. Things like this are why we end up with so many non sanctioned "USPSA Style" matches around the country.

check that the metal clip that the brass hits before it drops into the tube is positioned properly. Compare it to a picture online or in the manual. Someone here just had the same issue.

Micro-stamping is the process of stamping the guns SN on the primer and/or shell case of every round fired out of the gun. It's been pushed really hard in states like NY, NJ, etc, for many years.

The magnet should bother the phone. There are magnetic based mounting systems for your car using very strong magnets.

Mine was just delivered.

We got a bunch of debbie downers here. Go shoot the match, Max Michel showed up with a camera crew which aired on T.V. in 2011 A7 along with some other big name shooters and he shot OPEN. OPEN/OPEN not OPEN 10..... I live in MA and I'm shooting OPEN.
With respect, this is just not good advice. While your chances of getting caught is low, the risk isn't worth it. Assuming an average income level, defending your self in court against a felony will be a life changing event for most people.

I'd recommend this:

For the social part I've found that many people do meet up for lunch after the smaller club matches.

zzt, if you are running a match by USPSA rules, and using USPSA targets, and using USPSA scoring, why not just have the club join the organization? You can always hold USPSA practice matches, for newbies, (legally) after you join. By the way, what is a non-USPSA DQ by your rules?
I can't speak for his club, but I shoot at one USPSA "style" match. Due to close proximity of homes, they require guns not be pointed above the berm at anytime even during reloads. USPSA shooters don't seem to like local range rules so it stays non USPSA. There are several others in my area that are also USPSA style but I don't know their reason for not affiliating. I almost never shoot at official USPSA matches anymore.

I also have the CMMG lower. It runs flawless.

Getting tested is important if you have bad habits you will quickly find out.
Eating at the range is the big issue I always cringe when I see. Many people don't think anything of eating a bag of chips with dirty hands. On one hand I feel bad giving people advice on another I feel bad if I don't. Most people don't seem to appreciate the advice no matter how politely I deliver message.

I use 5gal pails for all my common calibers. For the odd balls I use bags within one 5gal pail. It's also how I stop from hoarding the stuff. No more than one pail per caliber.

I tumble and separate media outdoors but that's about it as far as lead concerns go.

Thx! I'll start looking into the Sig. I know it's a blowback but any opinions about the CMMG Mk 9?
I have one and it functions flawlessly.
