I had CZ custom do my Shadow 2 and I am very happy with it.
There is a guy that shoots the local USPSA matches I attend (he kicks my butt too)
that uses this. Very nice gun

I have Dawson's low sights which will co-witness at the bottom of the glass, but not anywhere the middle. Works for me cause co-witness on a game gun is a waste of time.
I have a Delta point Pro I was going to install on the gun, but I like the RMS so I haven't bothered changing it.
I only wish Shield used better glass.

I have an 8MOA on my PC 9L. Holds zero great and is easy to find , but the lens is getting "foggy"
I don't really notice it when I'm shooting , but if I hold it up to a light? wow............looks terrible. unclean able at this point (cleaning makes no difference)

the JPoint/shield mini sight is what S&W ships with the performance center 9L (if you choose that option)
I have an 8moa on my 9L now and love it. Sits nice and low and holds zero well.
I have a Venom 6moa on my Shadow 2, both are great for the price range.
the Venom has a little bit of a wider window but I easily go back and forth between the 2
with little "adjustment" needed.

I've used mine in USPSA and steel challenges. Do it you'll love the difference.
Everyone that shoots M&P's around me that don't have the FF/FS sear package that
try mine can't believe how fast of a trigger it is.
I've been responsible for the sale of several of these kits LOL

yes 10 rounders have block inserted in the bottom 3rd of the mags same overall size.

I have a Venom on my Shadow 2 and if I decide I want to keep a front sight on their (still undecided)
I want to get a taller one so I can find it quickly.
can anyone point me to the correct sight that would replace the stock front sight?

jpoint/shield mini sight. Mine 9L performance center came with one on there , sits very low, easy to find the dot,
I have the 4 and 8moa versions and the 8 works really well for competition shooting (steel/USPSA). I have a Venom on my Shadow 2 and honestly
between the JPoint 8moa and the Venom 6moa, I could go with either, the Jpoint sits a little lower than the
venom and it definitely drops right on to a M&P.
I had the 4moa on my shadow and did not love it so I found a 6moa Venom and that's on there now.
the 8 stays on my 9L as I still use that gun for Steel matches

I have the Performance center 9L and it has the Shield mini sight on it ( 8moa)
that sight co witnesses really easily with the suppressor sights on there.
Initially when I first switched to CO I used to use the front sight to find the dot but now
several thousand rounds later, I've trained my self to focus on the target...and the dot just appears,
I don't even look for the front sight anymore unless I can't find the dot which is becoming less and less
frequent the more I practice drawing and finding that first shot.

10 round mags have ridiculously stiff springs , getting 10 in there is a chore , if even possible. go with the 17 rounders if legal.
I've used my Performance center 9L for a few matches and even at the "performance center" level, I changed out the barrel
and dropped in an apex flat face trigger forward set sear package. Now.... it's a serious shooter.
I'd say just stick to 1.0 if you like the beaver tail and drop in the apex kit and barrel (or a kkm barrel)
I've switched over to my CS shadow 2 now that it's been milled for CO, but I still use my M&P in steel matches all the time,
it's too much fun to shoot, to not use it.

I have the shield/Jpoint mini sights on my Shadow 2 and my M&P 9l
the lenses are made of plastic and quite to my disappointment they are now both cloudy.
No matter what I do I can't get them "clear". they hold zero well and
they do sit low and I really like the 8moa on my M&P, that one is staying
but the 4moa washes out quite a bit, so I am replacing that with a 6moa Vortex Venom.
I have one on my ruger mark III and love it.

so I'll probably get the kit ,so how do you adjust the sear? is this another take it out /put it in rinse repeat project?
I can't seem to find a vidoeothat shows this particular mod (adjusting the sear)

which hammer? and do I need to install the adjustable sear? (which has me horrified watching videos reassembly that sear block)
I may grab another hammer strut and leave the stock one intact and add the S2 disco and race hammer to my 2nd stut(9 bucks )
as long as I have the pins I should be all set. that way if I mess up the disco I can drop the stock assembly right back in

I also went with the Shadow 2 (sent it to CZC) but that is the CZ that I owned. my buddy has a target II and that
is lighter and has a better trigger out of the box but is not the same size as the S2. The S2 fits my hand better
the target II fits my buddy better (and he also has an S2 and never shoots it anymore)
