Mine was 3.75lbs with the gg kit and trigger. With the Keres, it is 4.25lbs. Taken from the middle of the trigger shoe. After adjusting the screws, there is virtually no take up and the total trigger travel is 1/8 inch.

I just installed mine, last night, and it is fantastic. Have a gg kit in my pistol.

Hi Alma, Thanks for getting back to me. I have decided to try doing my own. If I mess it up, I'll message you.

Thanks for the information, guys. It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks! What grit sanding wheels and/or paper do you use?

Blaize, Thanks for the detailed response. I have been reticent to do my own, due to having to reduce the grip to maintain the current dimensions. So I like the idea of using a more conservative size granulated and reducing the smooth areas to match the textured sections. With that in mind, if you don't mind... what grit sanding wheels and/or paper do you use? Epoxy type, etc... Also, what do you charge for a full grip job with beaver tail width reduction, like the new x-five compacts?

Blaize, That is really nice work. Did you do any reduction, when you stayed inside of the OEM borders?

Hi Alma, Are you still offering the silicon carbide grip treatment?
  9. That is good news, thanks.
  10. I was thinking of sanding mine down, but is that legal in carry optics?

What an innovative way to add weight. I may not purchase a Shadow 2, after all. I wonder If they improved the trigger?

My replacement sear came in from Gray Guns, today. It is much improved. The trigger is still around 3.25lbs, but smooooooth. The 'sticky' feeling, at the beginning of the stroke, is gone! Thank you, Gray Guns, for replacing the faulty part. Thanks, Alma Cole, for your great tutorial.

Thanks for the info. I just put blue loctite on the screws and tightened them down. I couldn't get a bit, from my torque driver, on one of the screws.
