Good to know. I'll remember that.
Agreed, I’ve installed the conceal hammer and can confirm its drop in fit
Will stay with my hammer for now. I like the trigger pull; very little creep. -

Is there a threaded barrel I could get for my TSO that I could attach a silencer?
I saw the CZC 9mm Hush with the threaded barrel and it made me think.

Hi,
I am interested in eventually getting a CZ Parrot, but a guy at a gun show told me they aren't worth the money if I am just a serous hobbyist . He stated they are meant for competition that I never plan on doing and it would be a waste of money.
I agree with Atlas. Buy what you want. It's America..
You can add Parrot bling parts to a TSO, including the same optic mount and CMore red dot scope. CZ-USA has the optic mount in several colors, including Blue, and Armorycraft has some of the other parts.
-
I simply wanted a Parrot clone in TSO format.
And if you ever buy a Czechmate, your parts get you half way to a Parrot; so there's that, lol. -
From the Parrot Unboxing thread, after changing to a flat trigger, pull went from 1-14oz to 1-4oz. I wondered how this could be..... Shooting them back to back, I don't feel any difference in the trigger. I don't own a trigger gauge, so not a very scientific comparison. As much as I like the oem TSO trigger, I considered experimenting with the flat.
P.S. Whaaat! muncie doesn't own a trigger gauge? Loaned it out and never got it back? Had a break-in? Left it in your truck bed?
... just kiddin

Nice gun. What hammer is that? How much fitting was required? Safety work ok?Yep -
Hi Muncie,I have both the factory plastic and aftermarket aluminum one, no noticeable difference in pull.
Is your aftermarket aluminum one, a flat trigger?
That's the one ppl speculate may have different geometry/leverage and therefore a reduced pull weight.

hurley,I did the same thing as George did with sanding and then drilling and tapping the release. It was a fun project but it was my first time tapping something and i broke the tap off just seconds before i was finished. I had to toss the entire thing and buy a new release and start from scratch but came it out perfect. USE TAP FLUID! Dont make the same mistake i did lol.
Is that the concealed hammer? Was it a drop in? If not,was it easy to fit? Any trouble with the safety working properly?
I was thinking of getting one, but worried about fitment.

Has anyone who replaced their oem TSO/CM trigger with a flat trigger, found their trigger pull lightened considerably?
I've seen in a separate thread, a reported 30% reduction in trigger pull. -
Thanks, I can adapt. I will visit more often and subscribe to interesting threads before they scroll off.
Love Brian's Forums! Will visit daily. -
I notice the number of threads I can now see using the Android 8.0 Tapatalk app is only 23.
Previously, I could scroll down, to older and older threads in the Technical/Factory Pistols/ CZ section, but now Tapatalk only shows me 23 threads. The older threads drop off as new ones are added, thus the number of available threads displayed never increases. This happens in other sections as well, not just the /Factory/CZ threads.
Is this a phone/Tapatalk problem, or a Brian's Forums problem? I know sometimes it's a problem for Brian when Tapatalk updates and he then has to adjust his forums to be compatible.
Just wanted to point this out. Thanks.

It's an impressive 33% reduction. I know many change to a flat trigger. Wonder how many have noted this much reduction in trigger pull. The only thing I can think of is, the flat trigger moves the ‘fulcrum’ or pivot point since the trigger shoe essentially works like a lever. Just like my Hiperfire Eclipse trigger in my MPX, the directions states that placing the finger pad at the lowest notch further lowers the trigger pull weight. -
Also my trigger weight was 1lb 14oz out of the box but i got a flat trigger from Armory Craft and when i dropped it in with no modifications, i went down to 1lb 4oz. My buddies regular CM did the same with the same trigger.
How can this be explained?
Any thoughts? -
Interesting. I may have to look into one of those too.. I do like where it’s at now, aside from the above mentioned need for a polishing, but a 1# trigger pull always sounds nice too lol. Still, I don’t feel like it’s a detriment with it still being
Tacomandood,
What is your trigger pull weight presently?

Read a comment that technology has come a long way since Slide Glide came out 10 years aga.
Made me wonder, what are the latest and greatest gun lubricants? Any comparison studies?
Personally, I use brake cleaner and a dry type lube spray.

It took me awhile to get used to the mag release; I have no problem with it now. Many like the S2 paddle. I want to try it. haven't modified mine yet.Hmmm, I have no issue with the stock mag release on the CM. I would be worried that it would be to easy to accidentally engage when not wanted. I would be interested on hearing from those that have this put in. -
So, I tore down my Czechmate and happened to have a spare CGW Floating Trigger Pin for my S2 so I decided to use it on the CM. Well today, I went back to CGW to buy an S2 extended safety for my CM and I noticed that they have a specific Floating Trigger Pin for the TS/TSO (which I would assume is also for the CM).Does anyone know what the difference is between the two?
I struggled with the floating pin design for my TSO. I didn't see the advantage. Now, If I remember correctly...
I think the floating pin works best when the pin goes through the frame, then the trigger and spring, then the trigger bar, then the other side of trigger, then onto the frame.
For my TSO, the floating pin just goes through the frame, into the trigger bar, and then out to the frame. The trigger itself is mounted to the trigger bar with its own pin and spring. I didn't need the slave pin for the TSO application since the floating pin didn't go through the spring.
I haven't taken the pin back out since it neither increased nor decreased my trigger pull #, but I'm still wondering why I bought it.

Yes. My drill press has a vise....
Nice! -
Did you put your catch in a vise to drill it? This is my current project at the moment. I have access to a drill press and want to use that to drill and then turn the tap in the press chuck by hand, to start it straight. That’s nice!
For about $44 plus shipping, it’s not bad at all considering the work I had to do to retrofit my TSO with the shadow 2 mag release pad.
I bought a Dormer M3 tap at Amazon, but received an empty little red plastic case in a huge 15 x 15" envelope. Kinda funny, but disappointing. -
Are CM in your club using the comp?all CM in the club shoot only minor 9mm standard ammo. very reliable. works 100% with fiocchi 115 gr.
they use 10-11lb R.S. for this gun.

So I’m looking at getting a TSO, upgrading from the Glock 35 I currently shoot. From what I’ve gathered, the travel screws don’t stay put well. Is this because they are adjusted to the limit? Or is this this something I’m going to have to watch
With a polymer trigger, its two adjustment screws stay put. In an upgraded aluminum trigger, the screws need a little Loctite.
Now, new TSOs come with an aluminum trigger... long way of saying, Yes, keep an eye on em; not because they are adjusted to a limit, just because they can move over time.

I too, thought the Parrot was too much. However, it didn't take long to appreciate it, and now I want one.
