im building a 2011, what barrel system and why? i plan on shooting limited then to open soon 40 S&W KKM or Schuemann any other choice? bull or bushing? cone or ? any advice, links to help me choose would be great alos grip? STI or PT? is there a mag difference? can an STI style frame with grip be canted to be more like a CZ or Tanfo? this is just a curoius question

Class I'm not to worried about but I want to shoot both limited and open, the question was can I switch back and fourth between 9 and 40 with a gold with out too much effort or cost i shoot 9 limited now. It want a better gun ...eventually I want to shoot open. 40 is my end goal caliber due to power factor, cost to reload over 38 super etc

Simple question race master or Alfa X i realize most have used the race master but who has tried both and which do you like or is there another model/brand you prefer i shoot production now and moving to limited. Will be shooting open soon.

Can the comp be taken off of this gun to shoot limited? Witness gold ? I see it has a ported barrel so I know the barrel has to be swapped for a non ported. How much work to shoot 9mm from this 40 frame ?

Im looking at a limited custom in 9mm, how hard is it to convert to 40 S & W , what di i need to do and parts? besides a slide and barrel? or just the barrel? springs? etc... is it worth it? I typically shoot 9mm but my friends are suggesting I shoot 40 for major power factor. can you use the same magazines? advice please thank you

I have a question for all you out there. If i were to build a 2011 double stack, the internals are for the mot part east to fit. my question is on the barrel to slide fit. i read on schuemann barrels website that there is a .020 gap that needs to be in this? is this where the barrel fits into the slide? or is it the locking lugs to the barrel locking lugs? can someone explain this to me a bit more. Im confident I can put one together but I just want to know everything ahead of time before i start
