    P320 X5 Thread

When was that said or asked? Because what I had heard recently was that as long as the profile/shoe was the same, it was legal. Because the trigger controls internal components. Even back when the X5 was approved for PROD, Troy had said something to that effect: (see link) http://www.doodieproject.com/index.php?/topic/5408-dnroi-thinks-were-too-stupid-to-read-the-rulebook/#entry167388
  2. Making good progress and shameless plug to garner votes for this popularity contest! https://www.sigsauer.com/promotions/myp320-photo-video-contest/#view=gallery&for=gigPEAUtbb0
  3. Bthomas, not sure what is needed but I have a TON of random length screws from when I was trying to find the right ones for the Romeo1. If you want, I can send 2 of whatever size you need, versus you buying a pack of 6 or whatever Brownells has Got tons of 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 7/16, 1/2. Also have a bunch of above sizes (plus 3/8 and 7/16) with the "conical" seat screw heads. Lemme know

I think all you need to do is shave a very minor amount of material off the bottom... (and remove the magwell).

  7. YMMV indeed.. this was from a friend today shooting 147g , 130PF 9mm. Tungsten rod, 14# spring.

They sent me some too but were too short
  11. The ones making these marks were Speer 147g which made 140PF.
  12. Went to a 13# spring and it appears casings are no longer hitting the optic!
  13. ^-this. Pretty sure the TacopsFull is a normal P320 w/ (4) 21rd mags... so he'd have to get mags that will fit the box and load them up to 10 for PROD.

5/16-3/8" will work. I have a few left in 3/8" I can send for a few bucks if you PM me. See here:

  16. Whoops, never replied to this. Typical round count is like under 100. Last night was 24+24+14+14?
  17. lens looks ok, gonna goto a lower weight spring and see
  18. So this was briefly mentioned in the huge long X5 thread: http://forums.brianenos.com/topic/244144-p320-x5-thread/?page=29&tab=comments#comment-2796007 Not sure I saw a solution or explanation, so Im asking here. I recently swapped over from stock guide rod/spring to a tungsten + 14# 1911 spring and now my ejected brass is hitting my optic (see picture). Same ammo (Speer 147). Does this mean I need to goto a lower weight spring? (or higher)?

3/8 is the absolute max... that I know for sure. Im using a 3/8 one on the side that you can see the screw and a 5/16 on the side with the extractor spring.
  20. Got a whole bunch of screws in today. Both 5/16 and 3/8 will work. The 3/8 is VERY close to bottoming out. If anyone needs screws, message me. Ive got a ton... just gimme a few bucks and Ill send out in a USPS envelope.
  21. Amarok, I dont know the proper length but 3/8 would be the max. I will try it out tomorrow and see.
  22. Couldnt wait for Sig to send so I bought a whole kit with a ton of screws. If anyone needs, just PM me.
