  1. Saul of double alpha has a YouTube story of this and I try to stick to his way of thinking. Long story short he was at a match and tanked a stage and it affected him thru the whole match. Turns out they tossed the stage st the end. So his negative outlook affected him the whole day and turns out it wasn't needed.

    Zen?

Zen is going into a stage and watching single stack and production guys cry about reloads. To them the stage dictates where they will reload.

Then I walk the stage shooting limited and I TELL the stage where I plan to reload..That's zen.

  2. I got the skills and drills book along with dryfire practice. Both books are AMAZING! I love uspsa and I wanted to do some drills but all the stuff I saw online and YouTube were guys that were at the same skill level as I or weren't high enough to take advice from. Bens books are great and I would recommend them to everyone.

  3. Thinking about going a tad bigger both front and rear.

Rear is a .115 and front is .100.

I originally wanted as small as possible for precision on steel and long range paper targets.

As im typing this out I guess I should see where my deviation is if I put that front dot as far left and as far right, (while still seeing the dot) breaking the shot and see how far my deviation is from the A zone at let's say 15 yards.  Would going bigger help keep the shot in the center because there's not as much "air" in between the rear and front sight that would induce user error while shooting faster?

What size sights do you guys run on your competition guns?

    I'm shooting .40 limited BTW
