  1. I've never had to reactivate anything after a ghost over... WesternDigital provides a nice utility that works like ghost for free with the last couple drives I bought, worked great and I even have two versions of Ghost.
  2. Never shot a 357 only a 44mag, but what types of ammo? I know the 44 mag required heavy high powered loads in order to operate with their gas system. Take a look at reloading data and you can see special sections listed for the DE guns. Just a thought...
  3. Just shot this over the weekend, who approved this nightmare??? It was a poor showing for me as a shooter because the bar was so low, but I didn't like the way I was watching people try and shoot it. Looked like the majority were trying to shoot it without going down on their knees by just leaning over and trying to look under the bar that way, seemed very unsafe that way to me. Just felt like I needed to add that comment in the mix.
  4. I hate you John....just kidding Sure it was only my 5th time shooting my new open gun but this was my times 42 pts 8.25 seconds 5.0909 HF I hate getting kicked by a revo...I need more practice!!
  5. Titegroup is what John had stopped using...he comes over to shoot with us on a regular basis. Take a look at Cowboy action loads, many powder companies are producing data for cowboy loads now. You are asking for upper end data but it will help you out. I used VV 330 with a 135gr Billy Bullet in my 6" S&W for a great shooting load or VV N320 @ 4.8 with the 135 gr worked well also.
  6. I purchased my first Lee Pro1000 back in 2000 to load for my 44 magnum as factory ammo was high priced and didn't fit all my needs. Later I bought a second one for loading 9mm and both worked well for the most part and if things went well I could load about 400 rounds an hour while being careful and producing a quality round. They tend to require a bit more tunning and cleaning to keep running smoothly so if you like to tinker with your stuff you won't have a problem. Just just perchased my first Dillon (650) a couple weeks ago and I can't believe the difference in speed and smoothness so far. I have put ot around 3000 rounds with very little effort. Someone on a low budget looking to produce a few hundred rounds here and there the 1000 is a great deal for the money. I could have used either the Square Deal, 550 or 650 but I picked the 650 for the bell and whistles I knew I wanted after I compared all of the presses. It took a bit more out of my wallet but I am happy I made the choice and return on investment is high if I change my mind. (very unlikely though) Being less than 30 miles away from Dillon makes it easy deal with also. Every manufacturer has had good and bad reports from their users as is evident is this post but it is up to each person to make up their mind themselves and not be biased on the opinions of others. My Lee's were good to me as a newbie but I have outgrown them. I probably will have a Pro 1000 looking for a new home soon if someone is interested.
