Dot40.net is located in Florida and now carries Eemann Tech if you are still interested.

Does anyone know if a CZ Shadow 2 with an Eemann Tech slide stop with thumbrest will fit a Red Hill Tactical holster made for a Shooting Sports Innovation slide stop with thumb rest? I have an Eemann Tech but having a hard time finding a USPSA Carry Optics legal holster that will accommodate it.

Did you decide to remove it and if so why? Asking for a friend[emoji28]

Thanks Matt. Does the putty harden and do you think you can easily remove if you decide?

So today I got my magwell from CZ Custom and their 140mm basepads. The way the magwell attaches I had to remove some of my tungsten putty. There is a bar that goes into backstrap and is retained with the same pin that holds the backstrap on. Super happy with the setup so far even though I can only get 21 in the magazines. Need to either modify or replace the followers. I really want 23 in the magazine.
And I gained alittle more weight. I think once I add a tungsten guide rod I will be really happy with. Not too heavy but not too light either...just right...lol. Right now at 32.5 oz with unloaded mag
Did you have to remove any of the putty to install the magwell bar that slides into the backstrap?

Thanks for the response. I can understand how lower temps will decrease velocity of bullet. However velocity appears to drop as temperature increases when using Cleanshot.

Been loading 135 gr blue bullets using 3.35 gr Cleanshot at 1.135”. Getting ~128 PF out of a CZ P10F. It appears (based upon chrono data) as if the PF drops as the ambient temperature (temp of bullet) increases. Anyone else experience this?

Looking for recommendations for either an AIWB or IWB holster for the CZ P10S. I prefer Kydex and either with or without ability to carry extra magazine.

I’ve been running the P10F OR in carry optics for a little over a month (4 matches so far). Previously ran a Glock 17 MOS and a CZ P09 with milled slide. The P10F OR, by far, is my favorite. I use CZC extended base pads with factory magazine springs and follower with no issue. Can load 21 rounds. I did install a HBI Theta trigger with their 3.0# striker spring. So far I have over 2,000 rounds through the gun with absolutely no issues.

I don't think this is correct, at least with the springs that came with my TSO. The one that came in the gun has noticeably denser coil count, that is the 16. Of the other two the shorter one is absolutely the 11 lb as it is noticeably easier to rack than the longest spring which is noticeably easier than the stock.
This information was just verified by an inside salesperson at CZ-USA on another site. Best advice is to count the number of coils for each spring and divide by the length of the spring. The higher the coils per unit length, the higher the spring weight.

how weird that is isn't a linear relationship with the length. and thank you!
I thought the same thing. Actually measured spring lengths and counted the number of coils. Spring weight is linear with the number of coils per inch.

29 pages in, please remind me what are the weights of the three recoil springs that came with my new TSO? They're 3 different lengths but I don't have a spring gauge to tell....
The shortest is 13 lb, the longest one is 11 lb. the other is 16 lb.

What holsters are you guys using? I know there’s some cross compatibility between them.
For USPSA (CO), Red Hill Tactical with Boss Hanger.

I have a P10F optics ready. I have not shot it in a match, but I have put about 300 rounds through it at the local square range. Keep in mind that I normally shoot a P09, so I don't have any way to compare it to any of the nicer metal framed guns. I am also a lowly C class, limited minor shooter, so my opinion could be suspect on all sorts of stuff.
I think the fit and finish is amazing, but I have only seen my own.
I tried 3 different bullet weights and they all shot fine. The chamber is still kind of short. 124gr round nose blue bullets loaded at 1.12 don't seem to plunk and spin freely.
Accuracy seemed great shooting dots at 7 yards, and A zone at 15. That is as far as my local indoor range allows.
Trigger is ok. 4lbs 12oz in multiple tests. If I pull really slow it has a little hitch in the short creep between the wall and the break. That is probably just my gun and I don't notice it when shooting with any kind of speed. I assume it will go away or I can polish it away. It might be annoying on distant difficult shots.
The guide rod is shorter than a P09 and longer than a P07 at 3.4545 inches. Mine is metal with a flared front to capture the spring, and what looks like a removable rear that takes a 5/64 hex key. Spring diameter looks the same as OEM P09 and I use Glock 17 ISMI springs in that gun with no problems.
Magwell is pretty thin on the sides. I think it might get chewed up pretty fast with reload practice.
Over all, I like it a lot. I think it will be fun to try carry optics when they start selling the adapter plates. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Great review, thanks for the information. The plates are available in Europe just not in the US yet. Helps to have friends over there!
i started with 147 grain coated bullets but had to load to 1.075” to get them to plunk. Switched to 135 gr coated and can load to 1.125” with no issues. About 350 rounds down range so far with no issues with that bullet.

Alright.
Base of guide rods
Glock .417
P10 .418
Guide rod diameter
Glock .227
P10 .235
ID of a Glock recoil spring is .246 so any Glock spring and guide rod will work in the P10’s. You’ll just have to trim them to length if you don’t want to wait for a CZ specific guide rod or spring.
NOW, the guide rod hole in the slide is a tad different. The Glock is .279 and the CZ is .295 so still pretty interchangeable.Great information, thanks! I recently installed a stock guide rod with captured spring from a Gen 3 G34 in my P10F. It seemed a little short but seated well in the gun. I test fired 10 rounds to check function. No problems. Based upon this I ordered a guide rod and an uncaptured 15 lb spring that should arrive this week. Description indicates it will fit G17 and G34. I may have to trim length of guide rod but do not expect to have any issues with function. I will post results once installed and test fired.
BTW, I have now shot the gun in 4 USPSA matches with no issues. Gun runs flawlessly and I love it. Recoil spring weight is a little heavy for my 130 power factor loads is why I’m going down this path. Also have a 13 lb recoil spring on the way assuming no issues with rhe guide rod and closer to factory 15 lb spring.

Good to know. Will give that a try
Curious to know if you’ve had a chance to verify if Gen3 G34 guide rod will work in P10F?

Just picked up a P10F
Whos making holsters for this thing? Preferably something that fits a BOSS hanger.
Red Hill Tactical makes an awesome holster for the P10F. Perfect fit! It will fit the Boss hanger.

Doing what you said did take mine to 3.5 lbs.
Did some more polishing today. Trigger pull down to 3.75 lb. Going to put a few hundreds rounds through and see where it settles.

Started out using a 15 lb recoil spring, but after I added the RMR I needed the 18 lb spring for the gun to function 100%. I suspect that was because the gun was refinished after slide milling and needed some “break-in”.
Now that I’ve got 3K-ish rounds post-RMR milling, I may be able to revert back to the 15 lb RS, but the 18 seems to be working just fine so not going to mess with it.
Thanks for the information. Think I will try some tuning “after” I install red dot.

Any recommendations on how to reduce trigger pull weight on CZ P10 closer to 3 lbs? Can use Federal primers if necessary for reliable ignition. Have already polished and installed HBI trigger with 3# striker spring. Currently measuring 4 lb 2 oz on trigger pull.

I have a P10C that I’ve been shooting for the better part of a year now. I bought it to be a carry gun but shot it in Production for a few matches to get used to it and “break it in”. Mid summer I sent the slide off to be milled for an RMR and I’ve been shooting it in Carry Optics ever since. Despite having other guns for other divisions, I find myself continuing to shoot the CZ.
The P10C’s trigger and ergonomics is what drew me to it. I handled one at 2017 Iron Nats and was impressed. I did a few things to mine that may or may not have been needed, but I like to tinker. CGW striker, CGW’s fix for the striker rotation, CGW’s guiderod and recoil spring, HBi trigger, and Apex comp mag release. And of course the RMR with co-witnessed iron sights since this is a carry gun.
I haven’t shot the P10F or even handled one, but based on my experience with the P10C I’m sure it’ll do just fine, especially if you have big hands. Personally I’m waiting on the release of the P10S...
Do you recall the weight of the CGW recoil spring you installed?

1mm for the TSO
Thanks for the information!

Looking for the size of the fiber rod I need to purchase for TSO (40 S&W). Is it a 1.0mm or 1.5mm? Thanks in advance.

I second Muncie21’s comment. I haven’t tried the Springer but have shot thousands of rounds with Grams spring/follower with CZC mag extensions with no issues. Maybe try a CZC mag extension?
