I feel the same way. I would love to see one

I tried to send you a PM, but I am not sure if went through. Send me a PM if you didn’t get it.

The one thing there is you don’t learn how to cut corners and learn what you can get away with. I would definitely want to doubles/practical accuracy at the minimum. YMMV

Perhaps this is why some people report the accuracy issue of the legion compared to X5.
Agreed, my Legion is reasonably accurate but not as much as my X5

“Should be okay”... I think those have been more than one person’s last words
With your experience you will be fine and I suspect quite happy with your decision. Good luck

Great article. It was spot on and something that I am working on right now.

My vote is use the dot exclusively. It is superior sighting system and you just have to get more used to it. Perhaps you are focusing on the dot instead of the target because you are used to focusing on the front sight? Putting a piece of tape over the front of the dot will help (tape goes on the muzzle side). That makes you have to focus on the target

I would go for the shortest creep....the most crisp break possible.

I’m talking about when the cam is off.
The only time I take mine off is when I am told to make ready.... just like when you use a race holster in Limited or Open.

Im not so sure. the GX Products holster with the cam lock can be set pretty tight.
Exactly. It won’t come out when locked even if I hold it upside down.

What is it you guys do during a walkthrough that you require to lock down a gun into a bucket holster?
Having said that I have Comptac, DAA Alpha X, and currently use a 4 Bros holster for my X5. All of them work fine and to be honest I don't really have a preference over any of them, just what I feel like using on the day..
Sometimes I like to come in to a position at speed, sometimes decelerating to decide where to start slowing down, sometimes to do a drop step vs regular exit, and list could go on. Before GX, I held my gun in place a lot. YMMV
-
I have all my of the ones listed except DAA and GX is my choice hands down. To me, being able to lock your gun in during a walk-through you’re not having to hold it in place with one hand it was a complete game changer.

I have 3 X5s but never experienced that on any of them using various springs and followers
-
Similar situation in my area.

Grip enhancement, trigger of your choice, GX holster. I love being able to lock the gun in while still using a kydex holster.

Thanks. I have never seen that barrel one person and I’m not a good enough gunsmith to be able to make an intelligent comment on that. That said, I do appreciate the info.

Thanks for the information. I haven’t seen much about this which is surprising given the popularity of both the SRO and the Legion. I was using I’ll play to mow mine, but I did not height over bore and have been looking for a solution. I was waiting to hear from someone to find out if you could avoid brass striking the glass. This may be the route I go. Again, thanks for the information.

Romeo 1 Pro is also direct mount.
I have used only Springer plates for other RDS. I really don’t have anything to compare it to. -
Have you seen Alma’s video?

For me, I have about a year’s supply of ammo. I am am going to try to make this a positive...every time I go to the range, I am going to be very methodical in practice and certainly won’t just be slinging lead down range and calling it “practice”. There will be a definite goal as to what I am practicing.

Mine has the movement also FWIW.

Ben’s drill. Pull the trigger at the beginning of the beep and be done before the end without disturbing the sights.

Thanks, this was very helpful.

By adding silicon carbide and grip tape I got it close but an add-on would have really been nice
