  1. Pocket Pro for simplicity with adequate features.

AMG  for a club timer.  One touch to transfer time to tablet.  Awesome.

Cheap---"IPSC Shot Timer" App.    I've parked my old CED 6000 and use

the free phone app on my Samsung Android phone for dry fire and drills now.

Surprised at how well it works.

  2. Never even pay attention to where the empties land, as long as they clear the gun and don't hit me in the forehead.

I tune recoil springs so that a fast 2 shots land together on a close target.   Second shot high?  More spring.

    Second shot low?  Less spring.

  3. From the header on the Sig section of the production gun list:

"All calibers and models of the Sig Model P320 modular line are allowed in compliance with current rules governing caliber, and magwells, with and without manual safeties."

    50-59 Junior Senior

    60-69 Senior

    70+ Super Senior

    IPSC senior starts at 50

USPSA senior was 50-60 through the 2004 rulebook.  It changed to 55-65 in the  2008 rulebook.  I was a senior for just shy of 15 years---50-65.   Not sure why it changed.

A 75+  super duper old fart  category would work,  but you would have to waive the 5 participant minimum at majors.  Past 70 participation starts dropping off fast.

I saw on IG that Odin came out with a V2. Apparently this one is on a springer hinge and will accommodate more current holsters.

The little video is impressive.    Looks like they are taking pre-orders first of September.

I wonder what the price is going to be?   Guessing $150ish?

  6. FWIW,  Just got a reply from RHT about a X5 holster using the Odin Armory

    thumbrest.  From RHT Sales:

"That thumbrest will start the holster at $300".       Ouch.

  7. Tried 572 shortly after it came out.   Charge weights were similar to Silhouette.  8ish with a

115, 7.5ish with a 124, OAL 1.175.     Burned clean,  good dot track.  I would run it 9 major if

that was what I had.  I put the data in the book, along with data for 3N37, 3N38, N105,

Silhouette and AA7,   and went back to HS6.

Looks like the winner is St. George. I personally did not vote for St. George but I think it certainly is one of the best ranges out there and one of few that can host  22+ stage matches.

Biggest advantage is that the city is capable of handling high influx of people. This is something that Talladega and Frostproof lack...

Really like(d) the St. George range.  Cheap airfare into Las Vegas,  Zion Park and Bryce Canyon, doable driving distance.  Have

not shot there since they re-did the range, but the bays look really skinny.  Is SUPS still a Nationals capable range?

  9. Maybe.   The Cz, P320 etc thumb rests are a replacement slide stop or takedown lever.

The Glock one you are asking about appears to be on the trigger pin---and pins are on

the list. Interesting that "takedown lever" is not----

    21.6

    Exchange of minor EXTERNAL

    components

    Sights, firing pins, firing pin

    retainers, pins,

extractors, magazine releases, slide stops, thumb

safeties, triggers, hammers, bushings, and ejectors

MAY be replaced with OFM or aftermarket parts.

  10. Centerline belt magnet on my CO, Prod and SS belts.  DAA magnet on front of #1 mag holder

on my Open/Limited belt.    I actually like the magnet on mag pouch better---but already had

belts set up for CO/Prod/SS with pouches that won't fit a front magnet when they changed

    the rules.
