  1. Since 300aac is not really a precision round...

Out of the right barrel (and the rest put together right) it will do sub-MOA, at least with good supersonic loads - within reasonable distances for its velocity

  2. I get nervous from thinking too much. Once I know what I need to do, I need to stop thinking about it: take a deep breath to stop the mind racing, Make Ready without delays, and go hit the targets.

I haven't competed much but, for the one where I beat everybody, I spent the whole day before doing things that kept me focused on anything but shooting.

  3. People have pointed out a couple of different angles to the question:

    - what powder charge you need, to get the bullet to the velocity you want

    - what powder charge you can use, and keep your firearm - and yourself - in serviceable shape.

  4. The Shadow Target has an LPA rear sight cut which isn't available from the factory for a SP-01 Shadow, that milling is done in the US by CZCustom (AFAIK) to create that pistol.

    What about rule 21.2b

Remains in effect – a slide may be modified specifically for the purpose of installing sights, and for no other purpose.

    That is USPSA rules.

IPSC does not have that many rules for Production. There is:

    16. Original parts and components offered by the OFM as standard equipment, or as an option, for a specific model handgun on the IPSC approved handgun list are permitted, subject to the following:

16.1 Modifications to them, other than minor detailing (the removal of burrs and/or adjustments unavoidably required in order to fit replacement OFM parts or components), are prohibited......

  5. Right. Safe practices need to be adhered to at every level.

I know that people have been DQd in my area for sweeping their own hand while pulling a rifle or shotgun from a gun slip - and for bending over to pick up something from the ground, on the way to the Safety area with a slung rifle.
