Started a couple of months ago aged 58, loving the heck out of it! Still shooting with club guns til about March '16 due to permit laws here in NZ, then I plan to start with a Beretta 92. Setting up for reloading too, being retired gives me the time to tinker away to my hearts content. During a training shoot last week was instructed to go prone, now that was a lot easier a few years ago, is there an IPSC time allowance for old joints? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'm looking at a Beretta 92 first up then adding a wheelgun later. My statement re reloading was based on the fact we have a basic A category licence which permits rifles and shotguns, B category for handguns and E category for Military Styled Semi Automatics. B and E have special criteria attached before being granted. Therefore I'm good to go for reloading as ammunition isn't categorised in the same way.

Hi guys, 58yr old newbie with IPSC and reloading as the areas I'm hoping to expand my knowledge in. Due to NZs strict licence and purchase laws, I am a couple of months away from owning my own handgun but am licensed enough to start reloading. Picking up a Dillon 550b after holidays.
