  2. Oh Briiiiiaaaannnnn...... I just LOVE my new shirt! It is the fashion statement I only ever DREAMED of making! I wear it all the time and have found, that with the proper accessories, it is quite versatile. I would like it though if you could do something in black. You know, for those SPECIAL occasions!
  3. I don't know what the cost of living is in FLA but it is extremely high here in AZ. My auto insurance doubled when I moved out here 4 1/2 years ago. My auto regestration is $350 / year. There are a lot of plus points especially for shooters. Mostly in the Phoenix area though. That's where the two big ranges are and it's a good 2 1/2-3 hours from the border. If your really into shooting, Phoenix is the place. You will have an opportunity to shoot with some of the top shooters in the world. I moved out here for the sole purpose of shooting at Rio Salado. Unfortunately, circumstances have changed in my life and I'm not doing nearly as much shooting as I had hoped to. I have a really hard time dealing with the heat which is why I'm now thinking of trying to relocate once again. Many people adapt to the heat without too much trouble but I think just about everyone looks forward to September when it starts to cool back down, at night anyhow! I'm not too impressed with the border towns in the S.W. but Tucson might be an alternative. It's within driving distance of the border but still a two-three hour drive to the ranges in Phoenix. The thing I love about it here is the open feeling and the abundance and variety of natural beauty. I love knowing that I live in what's left of "The Wild Wild West"!!! Adeos
  4. Sounds like typical IDPA match stuff to me! Sorry, I couldn't resist!
  5. To all concerned shooters, I spoke with Frank Robbins from Wilson Combat today about Ross Carter's accident. Truly a bizarre tragedy. He lost everything. Tools, guns, everything. It will be a long time before his life is anywhere near back to normal. Frank gave me an address where people can send donations so I thought it would be a good idea to post (or re-post) it on the forum. I'm sure any of us would appreciate the help if we were in his shoes. Even small amounts would help them. Here it is: Ross Carter and Diane Hammond Burn Fund Arkansas National Bank, Attn. Jay 706 S. Walton Blvd. Bentonville AR 72712 (Edited by AKALAKE at 5:14 pm on Aug. 12, 2002)
