I went with a steel grip from Matt Cheely. I would probably never know the difference, but I thought since I was building I might as well spend as much money as possible.

I have held the Apeiro, I haven't held the dvc. I really like the feel and balance of the Apeiro.

I've almost decided to bite the bullet and go with svi. The 12-15 month wait will get old though.

Is there any issue with running a 6" gun with 9mm, or do they run better with 40? Thanks

How many use a tactical rail? I had originally considered it, but I feel it will severely limit my holster options. Who has them, Likes\dislikes?

I asked the question to my builder the other day and was told any holster designed for the sti edge would fit the ldc 2011.

I've seen a few of these for sale from time to time. They usually sell for around 2100.

I'm wondering if anyone uses frog lube on their 2011. I use it on my bolt action rifles and clocks, I'm just wondering how it works on a 2011.

Thank you. I don't reload pistol and don't plan on it at this point. I'll probably just stick with 9mm for cost and availability.

I don't shoot any comps, and don't have any plans to as of right now. I might at some point, just don't have time right now. If you were building a custom 2011, would you build a 9mm or 40?

Thank you. I don't really care for the look of the entire pistol when it's hardchromed. I may try a mixture of the two, to break up the look a little.
