  1. Ok, this is rediculous. They pushed the marketing about the modularity of the pistol soooo hard, and now the .45acp model isn't compatible with the other cailibers and the target model isn't compatible with any of the other guns... People invested into the platform with all these promises from the marketing department and every step along the way they have not delivered. On one hand I like the pistol and on the other I feel they have mislead their customers.

  2. Right, I just meant it looked highly unfinished compared to current grips in production. Seeing some new pictures today, I think this is just a really bad photo.

  3. Any information on an x-change kit or parts for existing P320 owners? I have two fire control units, two full size grip/frame sets, one compact grip/frame set, one sub compact set already. I would much rather order a kit from SIG instead of hunting one of these guns in a gun store, preferably at current caliber x-change price.

Edit: I just wanted to add that these photos look waaaay better than that one that was posted a few days ago.

  4. I really like the Apex flat-faced trigger. If they bring out a model with a factory flat-faced trigger, would that mean people with the APEX could use it in production?

  5. It looks like they 3D Printed a CZ style grip out of plastic and put the 320 slide on top.... This has to be a prototype/mock up, because it looks like garbage.

  6. I like my heavier .40sw full size slide over my 9mm slide. I think they milled too much out on the inside and made it too light. Will the 9mm barrel and recoil spring run in my .40sw slide? More so will breechface/extractor work with 9mm?

  7. m91196: Thanks alot! I think I'm going to go with them. I am currently using the Magpul 1911 grips but they are just too slippery for me. I tried a buddies checked grips and it still didn't give as good of a hold as grip tape. When I can afford a 2011 I am going to get one for limited, but thats a ways off. In the mean time if I can get used to the thicker style 1911 then it should be positive training towards both now.

  8. Does anyone have experinece with these grips(http://techwearusa.com/product/grips-only-slotted-for-techwell-aluminium-inlaid-tape/)? I am considering purchasing a pair and one of their magwells. My main concern is the thickness. I have searched quite a bit but have not been able to find how thick these are. I personally like thin grips and the other grips I was considering is the Hogue aluminum 3/16th checkered grips. I personally like grip tape and feel like it gives me a better grip/friction than most checkering. Any input or alternatives would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Definitely, thanks for your input! I appreciate it. From the looks of it, it will be perfect for fixing the issue without me having to adjust my grip.

  10. Steven t: I dont have a problem with the take down lever, that would merely be an asthetic thing for me, but the slide release would be an improvement to me. I have on occasions had the palm of my support hand push the slide release up and lock the slide back mid stage. I grip that b*.ch as high as possible.

  11. I take it you have to call SIG and order it? I don't see it on their website store anywhere. How much is it for both slim take down and slide release levers?

  12. You know having listen to all of these debates and conversations about divisions being removed, as well as, people shitting all over divisions such as L10 seems to stem mainly from Production shooters. All the forums, the podcasts, the conversations at matches, and so on it's always the Production guys. I've never heard an Open, Limited, Limited 10, Revolver, or Single Stack shooter doing this. Sure they all jump in with their two cents once it starts, but Production shooters seem to be the main instigators. Just my two cents having read through a nauseating amount of this garbage. I started this thread to hopefuly have a constructive conversation of an idea that was postulated on PowerFactor, but it just devolved yet again into the same BS.

  13. Ok so as an update to setting up a P320 as a limited gun I have installed an Apex Flat Trigger, a Springer Precision guide rod, and Dawson sights. The biggest difference was with the flat trigger. I'm just trying to decide which magwell/mag extensions to go with. Does anyone have experience with the Springer Precision and/or Taylor Freelance stuff? Also, has anyone tried the Springer Precision extended mag release? I'm not sure that it would be an improvement for me since i already reach the mag release just fine.

Alma: Have you done anymore work with the weight for inside the grip?

  14. I can't wait to see that video! When I replaced the factory trigger with the Apex flat trigger it was a huge PITA! I think I bruised the tip of my index finger while I was fighting with it, because it was sore for days afterward. I didn't have a pair of needle nose handy, but hopefully Mrs. Santa will put a Leatherman Wave in my stocking this year.

  15. I was also looking into getting my SA Loaded NP3+ or Hard Chromed. I ultimately settled on NP3+. I am waiting for my new Wilson Combat mainspring housing, hammer, and hammer strut before I send it off. I've already replaced the sear and disconnector with Wilson Bulletproof parts.

Am I correct in thinking that since the NP3+ is plating and is only .001 thick that it will not change the dimensions functionally when switching from Parkerizing?
