czcustom.com's website also has them on sale.

We would also need a way to verify said caller's claims. Perhaps if they recorded the call so we could all hear?

Anyone know if the SIG dots are contenders with dots like Trijicon?

Is this a sign the target are about to be avaliable?

I have only been shooting USPSA for about 3.5 years. I continue to be drawn to Production, L10 and Limited.
I have a CZ-75 SP-01 that I really enjoy shooting Production with. Stage planning is definetly the challenge and I have learned alot.
My Limited and L-10 pistol is a TS. Shooting this pistol is great fun and it is nice to take on complex stages with only a single reload. At the same time I also enjoy shooting this pistol having to use a Production stage strategy - L-10.
I use the same Ghost pouches and belt locations for all divisions. My Limited/L-10 belt only has 3 pouches but does have a magnetic pouch in the front in case the stage requires 4 on the belt. My Production belt has 4 pouches.
I do use a CR-Speed holster for Limited/L-10 while using a Comp Tac holster for Production but, they are located in the same relative area on the belt.
People who shoot L-10 don't exists. Haven't you been reading the threads the last couple months? lol

Well I coated my grips with that course grit from harbor freight and jb weld. Waiting to see how these turn out. I used the Magpul grips that are only $19.99 so not a big deal if they don't turn out. If it does work out I have a P320 frame and tanfo grips taped up ready for the same treatment.
-
Thanks for all the great input!
Is JB Weld sufficient for applying grit? Also, where can you pick up silicon carbide? I have a tractor supply, harbor freight, lowes, etc around me, but none have them listed it on their websites.
-
I'm interested in trying the 36 grit silicon carbide after doing some reading. Is it possible to build it up to get more texture? I'm also curious if there metal grips out there that are like svi 2011 grips.
-
Thanks for the suggestions so far. Has anyone used the very aggressive alumagrips?
-
Is the silicone carbide the same as or similar to "skate tape"? If so for me, as my hands start sweating it becomes useless.
I mean I really want to have to peel my hands off the grips when I complete a stage.
-
As the title says, what are the most aggressive 1911 grips?
I currently have the Magpul 1911 grips and I'm tempted to stipple them since they are only like $20. However, I would prefer to invest in some metal extremely aggressive grips similar the aggressiveness of 20lpi front and back strap checkering.

Yeah, well SIG and all their representitives/sponsories say a lot. Oh I've listened to the promises for years. Their promises sound great. It's the follow through that has been lacking in recent history.
-
Ok, I get that. I'm aware that Lena M who just joined on to SIG said at shot "I shoot 3-gun and only 3-gun. The only time I shot a pistol only was on the way to a 3-gun match.", BUT majority of their team are USPSA/Steel Challenge shooters to my knowledge and the fact remains that 9mm runs in .40sw tubes. .40sw does not run in 9mm tubes. More than anything I'm just frustrated because I was an early adopter of the P320 (I believe my serial number put my first P320 in the first 3000 produced/sold) and this whole time they've been feeding us a lot of promise and hype, but not delivering.
-
Why the heck wouldn't they bring out a .40sw/.357sig version? I'm guessing because of the 140mm tubes, the thinking was this product is catering to the competition market... I doubt many LEOs are walking around with mags these long on their belts. With that in mind what divisions mag length limit is 140mm? Limited. What is the most common caliber in limited? .40sw. Especially when the .40sw tubes can reliably be used with 9mm, but the .40sw can't be used in the 9mm tubes. It's so frustrating that SIG has put out an exceptional handgun that I want to use in competition and keep making efforts to support competitive shooters, but yet they keep falling short in my opinion.

I'm curious if there will be slides/optics that are available on release. I have to FCU and multiple caliber x-change kits for the 320 already. If not I will probably get a whole gun, because I really like red dots. Dots work better for me than irons.

Wouldn't you also want to know if your accuracy at longer range has improved a long with speed?

Alma: have you tried removing material from current grip beavertail area to get as high up as the target model?

Vlad you first said that you were worried that it would go off while pointed in your direction. If they were being safe it would never be pointed at you. If it was pointed at you there is a much bigger problem that needs correcting regardless of weight of trigger.
Next you said your concerned about reholstering which if it went off in the holster wouldn't effect you unless they were straddling you when holstering. I don't think that is a legal make ready position to be in. Make ready is the only time when a loaded gun should be entering a holster per USPSA.
It still seems to me like you are thinking irrationally.

Negligent discharges are negligent discharges. Don't blame equipment. Proper responsible gun handling is key. Modern striker guns have internal safeties that 1911s do not. Thus making them safer in terms of non-user induced mechanical failures that cause the firearm to discharge. The manual safety is to lock up the clockwork inside the firearm much like internal safeties of modern striker guns. If you do something that actuates the trigger it doesn't matter how light or heavy the pull is, its the human not the gun. Now if the trigger has been lightened in a way that makes the gun mechanically unsafe that it malfunctions then its not legal to use in USPSA.
EDIT: Attributing blame to the firearm and not the user is emotional thinking, its based in fear and not logic. It's the same line of thinking that the anti-gun groups use.
Difference in quality in P320s
in Sig

I have a P320fs serialized in the first 2000 pistols chambered in .40sw and a P320sc serialized in the 19800 pistols. I also have the 357sig compact and 9mm full size exchange kits. I purchased the .40sw right at launch. The rest spaced between then and last summer. In terms of fit, function, accuracy, and reliability there is a clear difference. It seems as time went on the quality in production decreased. Through testing every combination of slide, fcu, and frame plus multiple uspsa matches totalling to over 5000 rounds of the various calibers, that original parts are by far the highest quality. Has anyone else noticed this?
