As soon as I  saw  the leaf spring in this picture I was disappointed that they did not put an improved trigger system in this gun. Because with the trigger of less than 1.5 pounds, the problems of the original design from 120 years ago will return

    ? problem with leaf spring?

  2. I had 2 MPX units, both problems with reliability, I sold them. I have 3 friends with an MPX, 2 sold them, 1 keeps on trying to make it work (all the time),

I shoot a JP15GMR now, as do my mentioned friends. Zero problems. Yes, some load development, we settled on wave spring, weight, blitz 5007 and 115's with VV N320. Done.

Since I am lazy about to buy a JP5 in order to shoot factory ammo without changing to many things. I love JP!

For such wishes there is only one place in the world. to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and ask for it from the wall that remains of the Holy Temple.

Probably  this is the only thing that will help.😉

    Let's go 🙂

I shoot S&B 115gr and I use Lock piece 60˚. This works even better than 70˚ but there is still room for improvement.

They are very hot / hard... like 150PF up, did you try softer factory ammo like Geco 124 or Geco DTX 115???

With your 115s I would try the 70 degree lock piece. Heck I'd try it with both your hand loads and the factory 124s. I like 124s in my JP5 quite well.

I personally settled on the 80 degree lock piece but others have preferred the 70 with all sorts of loads including factory 115s.

    tnx!

  6. Finally had a chance to shoot a JP5. This one had the standard 80 locking pieces. With factory ammo (124 at 141PF) its definitely softer then my JP15GMR with Blitz. Not bad. With 115's at 131PF I feel its similar, maybe a bit softer. And the 'feel' is different. Difficult to describe bit I liked it.

In both cases I saw the dot moving downwards instead of up... Also with a 2nd shooter. Not so much difference in the hits but it was remarkable. Comes with the design? Grip?

Anyway, my question: so if I were to shoot again and then with the 70 pieces installed it should further smooth things out? Both for hotter and softer ammo? That's not completely clear for me. Thank you!

I can't leave anything alone and always wanna try something different so I got one of the way to try out with my 10.5" brekke and 130pf 115gr load.

I'll be the guinea pig and see how it goes!

Curious about those those Tubbs flat wires with the kynshot (blitzkrieg) as well - currently running the 5020SS in an A5 tube.

Here in Europe many use the Tubes flatwire spring with kynshot 5007 or 5015. I like it better then the 308 carbine spring with 130 PF (5007) and factory ammo (5015) at 150

Need to work up a load for my my dad and occasionally my daughter for the ruger pc carbine. It is stock so no comp.
I would like to use what I have on hand  which is 115 grain, round nose, Bayou bullets and n320.
    This would be for USPSA.

    I shoot 115 RN FMJ’s with N320, I use 4,4 grain at 29mm oal giving me 135 PF

No weight spacers with 5020ss or you will start jamming and slow2tapping. For 2 years of testing i've tried almost all combinations of 5020ss, stock, 5006, mbx, taccom magnetic delayed, new russian heavy 350 / 450 and more more other buffers with 7 different springs and spacers and sht with and without inner bolt weights +all PFs from 127 to 138..TLDR They all feel ok. Some better some way s#!tter(some even exploded my rifle lol). The best for me was 5020ss + A5 + Polished Carbine Spring + max spacers + 134PF with bcg weight or 130pf without it . Every humanbeing is a different walking machine so you should try it yourself. As for now i got a complitely different new pcc (V-AR) with all shenanigans i was needed inside (shortest reset possible with the lenght of an ammo cartridge/ delayed system/ tuned with par springs ideal weight buffer/ a shuttle level inside finishing and coating so i'm done with testing and shooting it as it came from a box as i am tired of testing.. Better investment is a 20-30kg weight loss. In video section i posted my last vid there i shoot with my 5020ss(red rifle) and a new one(black) i'm happy with both. the black shoot faster and flatter tho..Red is looking better :(

Thank you, but I am now a little confused.  12 o'clock has the compensator ports straight up.  1:30 is 45 degrees.  3 o'clock is 90 degrees.

Are you maybe at 1 o'clock (slightly less than 45 degrees)?

Sorry for confusion, I am in between 1 o'clock and 1.30
