  1. Looks like my 8-10 month time frame will be 12 months 😭

    maybe Bonnie recommended that dot?

on the plus side, I think Leupold DPP is the best dot on the market!  I have 8 of them!  I may try the eotech whatever that has DPP footprint.  And I know what I’m talking about since I’m a national champion 🤣😂😅

Maybe he means PCC's are way cheaper than pistol divisions.

The correlation of cheap PCC is like shooting a cheap open gun.  They may work, but are they 100% reliable?  I wouldn't go to Nationals with a cheap PCC over my $3000 MPX (including aftermarket parts and optic) with the intentions of winning.

  3. I now have 8 DPPs that I've acquired as time has gone on...   I've sent 2 back to the factory over 6 years of shooting these dots.  For the most part, I've found them to be extremely reliable.  Plus they have a lifetime warranty.   Most other dots have a 5 year warranty after it was manufactured.

  4. Welcome to BE!

Based on the photo, you'd have to get a new grip safety.  I'd suggest contacting Infinity if you'd prefer to get that fitted.   But I'm curious as to why you'd want that feature?  Usually it's the other way around on people deactivating grip safety's

  5. I met Alaina at PCC nats last year.  She was really nice for the short convo we had.  She shot FLOP and Caribbean open recently.  So I'd say she isnt going away anytime soon.  Plus her bf Jesse James I'd imagine is encouraging her to shoot more!   I'm happy to keep her around as I feel her 2M IG followers will see all her gun posts which I think is a positive for the sport/gun community!  I also appreciate her being a lefty!

In the latest USPSA mag they have a list of rifles used in the Nationals and it said 8% used Leadstar rifles.

I was on the super squad, and nobody used a Leadstar PCC was my point. I’m not trying to say they suck or anything negative about them. I’m just stating what I saw on my squad at nationals. Lena’s MPX malf'ed. Max’s JP5 malf'ed. Justine’s Brekke build malf’ed. My MPX, 100% flawless. 🤷‍♂️

Regardless, like I said before, the best PCC is the one that the shooter uses best to win. As long as they’re reliable.

Everyone has seen any/every brand PCC malfunction.  There’s so many factors into the equation on why.  To say XYZ brand PCC is the best because 1500 rounds flawless through it without malfunction, I’d say that gun isnt even broken in yet. Put 50,000 through it and report back 😄

All this said, I love the competitive side the market is bringing to the game!

I wouldn’t say it’s hard to maintain.  But it is traditionally more work since there is more parts involved in the way it functions. That being said, I’ve seen wayyyyyyy more malfunctions with AR variant PCC’s than I have with my MPX’.

In my opinion, the best pcc is the one you shoot best with. End of story.

Not sure if you noticed, but the thumb rest is on the wrong side.

I got to mess with one.  I really like the grip panel idea.  You can add where you need more contact.  The one I tried was excellent.  It's too bad the grips are proprietary.  The gun itself is really nice, but if I'm spending that much, I might as well toss in another $1-1.5K and get the Infinity.

Yeah I’m on a list for an Infinity and it’s less than an Atlas..

  10. Is there any info, I search and can’t find, on how to get 23rds in a P10 magazine?!  I feel less than 23rds in a CO gun isn’t gonna be competitive. Especially on 21-01 classifier.

  11. ^ if this isn’t a sale pitch, idk what is…. I would highly NOT recommend a elf trigger in a MPX as it caused malfunctions on my MPX. It was one of the multiple triggers I tried before settling with the ECL. I still highly recommend the ECL to all 😆
