So, I know I'm going to get hammered for this one but here it goes. I have gone as low as 7.8gr behind a plated 155fp and it was quieter than a .22 and incredibly soft. Didn't chrono it and still have all ten fingers. Again .40 open.

I use 3n38 in .40 open and have experience with the powder. What are you looking for from your load and what gun/class

I shoot .40 open with the berrys 155fp over too much 3n38. Soft and flat but loud and fiery, get some unburnt powder but gun performs like I want it too. At a lighter charge I was getting a complete burn but too much rise

It always worries the heck out of me when I have to answer a particular question at work. At least 1x a day I get asked "How do I register my gun?" First off the class of clientele concerns me that they are lining up for government regulation and sanctions, but mostly because of their blissful ignorance of the laws in their area. Seriously people if you want to be responsible learn the rules. Btw I'm in Kansas where unlicensed concealed weapons are legal. Where the state is attempting to circumvent gca68 and other regulations by building a factory for in state use only items. I'm all for deregulation, firmly believe that the 2a is my carry permit, and that there is no substitute for a proper education, training and practice. Just starting to develops a fear of the sheeple.
