No one shooting 40 major will tune their gun to shoot 40 minor and get it milled for a dot.
exactly. LO is a stupid div.

Stupid that they did not include major. They are losing a lot of shooters that I would imagine would put a dot on their 40 Lim gun. Otherwise it is glorified CO and minor open.

Could be a loose primer. Looks fine while case gauging but if you shake it, it will come out 3/4 of the way but not fall out. Found one the other day.

Don't think PS would allow a mix of PF also.

I see what you mean, I paid $850+ for my SVI 2011 SS grip, but it also was a night and day difference for gun performance. That said, you also make a good point that the TXG grip is already decently heavy unlike a 2011 polymer grip. Also grips are cheaper and more prevalent now in the $550-650 range
The TXG grip is 13.3oz, and a Phoenix SS 2011 grip is 12.9oz… however there is considerably less material on a 2011 grip than a full p320 grip given that the p320 module includes the equivalent of a lower receiver and pic rail/dust cover, whereas a 2011 grip stops w the trigger guard.
id be curious to know what the full weight of a p320 module would be if made from SS. I’d wager 17oz easily
All true. I had 3 PT's and my wife had a Limcat. Def worth it on a 2011. I would never buy one for a p320 when a TXG is avail or comes on the gun already. Currently have Max's.

so it went down for calibration? that's fairly unusual when shooting major. (i.e. I have never seen it happen except with an improperly adjusted forward faller.
It was believed to be a wind gust at that exact time per the squad. There were some small gust that morning. It was about 30yrds out. All I know is I was not happy.

I just emailed Icarus to see if they have toyed with the idea of making a Stainless grip that would CO legal at all. Would be great to see a detachable magwell so it could be used for Open/CO
Good luck. Look at how much a 2011 steel grip costs. The weight diff to a TXG would not make it worth the $. And the qty they would sell.

Yup, a large popper f'd me at a major. Direct center hit(172pf) and took off. You could no longer see the popper once you left the starting position. Called my shot and left. It was standing at the end of the stage. That mike cost me 3rd place O/A(and prob some other stuff , lost by 0.5 points).

Not legal in USPSA CO.

Yes, don't use grease.

Yes, don't use grease. Use oil of your choice. Problem solved.

My slides (X5, Legion and Lockwood Slide) still have the vertical movement as I pull the trigger though.
No trigger is going to get rid of that. Put a loaded magazine in it and it goes away. It's no big deal they are all like that.

Walk- in for me will be a problem. Will need to ship it to them, but not until I can contact them.
Try their other location.

How much does it typically run for one gun?
$50 if you are a walk-in.

H&M have done 4 of my open guns. They do a great job.

Have you had a problem with the mag release?
I didn't but someone on my squad did. The little piece broke and the spring shot out. Luckily found the spring but the plastic part was broken. He was done for the day.
I have since bought 2 and keep 1 in my bag.
Wilson combat sells both parts together for $5.

Take down lever, mag release(little plastic piece and spring), battery for dot.
And back up gun.

You forgot 74oz weight limit. Cuz 75oz is stupid.

We all know and accept the traditional different scoring between minor (5-3-1) and major (5-4-2). However, with the recent dramatic growth of Carry Optics and PCC, should there also be a scoring difference between iron sights vs. red dot sights? What would a good difference be?
5-3-0 red dot minor? Or even 5-2-0? It seems this might equal out some of the different stages as to what is “too hard” or “too easy”. Just a thought...
Why? Red dots don't shoot against irons. Divisions only compete against their own division.
With that logic PCC should be 3-1-0

I've opened up all my Legions/Max's. Easy and makes it quite a larger opening.
Limited Optics
