Would 3/16" A36 steel last with 22lr? Trying to find the lightest set up for SC practice.
-
Shooting a lot less uspsa and now getting back into SC. Even bought my wife another gun to shoot RFPO. Rimfire is just easier. No loading, picking up brass, holster/rig and just fun.
-
I use a straight Sprinco 13# and my wife uses a 13# Wolff Variable. They both feel different. I would try a bunch to see what you like.

Why? You're quitting, you're done. If your ex wife told you how to live, would you listen just because the divorce isn't finalized?
Never said I was quitting or done. Just no longer a member.

Not only are members not renewing, but clubs are starting to do away with classifier stages for L1 matches. If that continues, maybe this will resolve itself in time.
As a MD for 2.5+ years, I rarely had a classifier.

I voted in the recent elections, you didn't.
I actually did vote. Even for the runoff and Production 15.

I think it's become pretty obvious that member opinions don't matter either.
100%

Of course you can. But if you're not a member, the opinion doesn't matter. Not to mention the hypocrisy of claiming not to give money to an organization only to pay the fee to participate in their events. I mean, if I'm boycotting McDonald's, I should go to Burger King, not visit their drive-through on the sly...
For those who didn't renew, what are they going to do about it? They are already out. Are they going to quit again if nothing changes? Or stomp their feet? The only way to make a change is to work on the change. Leaving is not working on the change. If we need votes to make a change, are we going to ask members to vote, or are we going to ask former members to give us their opinion?
I no longer shoot L2/3 as if this year so I feel there is no reason to pay for a membership. I don't care if I have an X next my name instead of a GM/M.
I have always voted while a member. Also voted for a prez that was removed because Troy and other AD's did not like him.
I will continue to shot L1's and yes my $1.50($3 w/ a classifier) will go to USPSA but that is it.

He is part of the Elite. Nothing will happen. I am not a fan of him. I let my membership expire Sept 1st for reasons like this and others.

Shave the edge on the basepad. I've done it on prob 20 mags that didn't fit. No need to mess with the feed lips.

No longer shooting majors as of May, so no benefit to renew. Mine expires 9/1/23.

Who writes these things????
Would you like vote to not have to have 10 rounds?
Pretty much how most questions are written.

Probably, and I'd imagine comps are the next thing we need to add to a division as I see lots of people on social media adding "carry comps" to their guns. Certainly our 125 pf ammo out of 55 oz guns with sub 2 lbs triggers, thumb rests, optics, magwells, etc are still too difficult to shoot.
Don't forget the racker....

Does anyone make and adapter for this gun to the Cmore RTS2? What are the advantages or disadvantages to this set up?

Doesn't look like a taper. Looks like a ridge going up. Should fit as it is the same slide.

this seems like something very important to argue about..... if it were me (which it isn't, because I think LO is dumb), and I knew I would get 4 classifiers before then, I would totally register for a major as the class I'm going to be at that major. at worst, I can fix it at registration, which already happens often enough for people that move up in between registration and the match.
The match is the 3rd week of May. It can happen but I am guessing they just don't understand.

The theory that using Open as a base was to high.. my response is whatever is used as a base is irrelevant along with any study and adjustments if your already classified in anything else... a GM in anything else =shoot 4 @ 10% average or 4@ 84% average = the same M card for LO.
That's why we have L2 coming up in May in AZ nobody has a LO clasifacation or the opertunity to shoot 4 before that match but shooters have already signed up with a clasifaction selected fo LO..
And the ones who have put anything besides U are wrong(as of now).

this is the "fine, shoot your Staccato without having to be in Open" division since it seems like every Staccato has a dot, magwell and light.
Just call it staccato optics.

GM in open. Got it in about 2 years from starting to shoot in 2018. 49 now.

Yes, def buy an EGW gauge

Yes, they need to be filed on the bottom. 99% of them.
