I have a Glock 34 with factory barrel and run all Freedom these days. I use the 124gr JHP reman. Soft shooting and groups tighter than 147gr. IMHO

I just picked up a Nikon M-223 1.5-6 illuminated with the BDC600 reticle. Really solid feel, lightweight, clear glass, bright dot.

I put ISMI stainless guide rod in my G34 with 11lb spring and it shoots very flat with 124gr and 147gr freedom ammo

True but in the areas I would do them, there are a lot of pro guys. I figure they would be more likely to show up if there were no majors that weekend?

I would want to keep it in Texas and schedule around 3GUN majors. Also I know these days sponsorship requests are high, but would any of you(vendors, manufacturers, etc.) on here entertain supporting an event like this?

Not sure if this is right spot for this. Has anyone ever considered or tried to organize some type of multi event shotgun championship series? Something set up like a weekend 3gun shoot with several stages, prize table Etc. Maybe a big prize at the end of the year for points leaders. Would there be enough sponsor interest and competitor participation? Your thoughts??

Here is a stoeger with 12 round tube and 28" barrel FYINewbie to shotgun, about to buy a Stoeger M3000, but with no prior shotgun experience I don't know the pros and cons of various barrel lengths. My local range requires a minimum 24 inch barrel for their shotgun stations. Is there a good reason to go longer than 24 inches? Probably no single best answer, but would appreciate your advice.

Unfortunate, but China will copy anything. All we can do is hope people in the game would stick with American made products where possible and support the companies that support us.
Don't see any Chinese companies sponsoring any 3-gun matches.

I have been listening to the 3 gun show podcast the last couple of weeks. It is really cool they interview a different shooter every week and give you some tips on gear, drills, practicing, match advice and neat prospective on the shooter they are interviewing. Additionally, they usually have gear give away every couple of weeks. This week they are giving away a seekins upper and lower reciever set. Here is the link to this weeks give away and pod cast.
