  1. I was messaging Eric Grauffel on which one to get, and he said he prefers the Delta. I am thinking that the geometry on them is the same, just the Titan has more mass.
  2. Looks like the Titan hammer is starting to pull away, as anyone used both the titan hammer and the xtreme delta?
  3. +1 for RHT, I just got one with the RHT drop off-set and hand tightening screws. Its lightweight and uber fast.
  4. Just an update......i have no update from IDPA.
  5. Jim you were the one that stated entering a score for a NFC competitor was in your mind "careless" on the MD's part. Are you now saying that they should be scored in their own NFC division, as is stated in the rule book?
  6. Well, the rules for NFC refer to NFC as a "division". I don't think they can treat it as anything but another division.
  7. I was under the impression that they were not givin a score sheet. If they get a score sheet with their time, penalty's etc. tallied up like everyone else then I think that is fine. What I don't understand, is when a person pays their entry fee and does not get the same feedback as the next guy. Yes their gun has a 4.5in bull barrel and not a 4.2....who cares. It's a local match. If it were nationals or if there were prizes involved then yeah, play by the rules or GTFO but there are no prizes...just pride and feedback on your shooting ability. Score them, and say NFC next to it. They paid the money and the rules allow it and they "Encourage it" which is straight from 8.2.7.1.
  8. I think NFC should be scored, I see no reason not to. Why would you restrict the feedback to the participant in any situation except for a DQ or range equipment failure situations.
  9. I personally don't have a membership at a club or a range, so the only training that I can put in without having to get a lane at an indoor range is through dryfire and matches. Hince, another reason I shoot IDPA on occasion along with USPSA. Its more trigger time.
  10. I just got a Redhill training DOH holster for my stock 2, is anyone else running one of these?
  11. So i keep accidentally activating my stock 2's safety when i am shooting fast, or mag changes etc. Is there something i can do to increase the tension on the safety? Or do they make a safety that is a smaller/longer profile that makes it harder to hit?
  12. So i put some very very very vibrant nail polish at the top of the front sight.....and I cant see any reason to change it. haha
  13. I dont like it...i shoot USPSA 90% of the time. Some of my friends like it, so when I go to a IDPA match with my friends it is frustrating to have to change my gear around and put on a tac life fishing vest.
  14. But why just the compact 1911's, that seems a little biased.
  15. Idk...ambiguous rules are frustrating.
  16. Ok cool, I will be interesed to see the difference the Titan Hammer, disco and sear make with the trigger pull. I was contemplating ordering all that jazz if i cant get the trigger to a "reasonable" weight. I've determined that it will never be like my shadow....but honestly the shadow has a better trigger than it needs to. Let me know how everything turns out!
  17. Are you all going to post the match on the USPSA match listing? I just noticed that it is not on there. Chase H.
  18. When you say one piece sear, is this what you are talking about? http://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/en/frame-parts/348-sear-lever.html Honestly, the best result for the SA pull, has come from filing the hammer hooks and the bottom of the sear lever. Its not perfect, but a whole lot better than before. I notice on mine, in double action, that the hammer/sear lever contact has the biggest impact on the gritty feeling. If you take the sear assembly out and work the trigger, the plunger "at elast on mine" doesn't provide a whole lot of resistance.
  19. I want to want to play....but they make it hard. I just hate changing all my gear around every time a buddy want me to go to a IDPA match with them. I've got a IDPA SO course coming up in a few weeks...maybe that will revitalize the sport for me a little....who knows....but then I have a USPSA RO course in 3 weeks :-P
  20. I said hammer hooks, put they roll more than they hook.
