I’ve got one sitting in a box I picked up off of Arfcom.
It’s sitting in a box in my gunroom because my experience is just as @tt350z stated above. -

I used a small strip of double sided tape at the base of the front panel to eliminate the wiggle. -
I kept the original trigger.
It felt much better after I polished metal to metal surfaces.

Anyone have the 23rd OEM magazines and know the length?
Curious if I might want to tinker with the FPC, and if the mags are longer than 140mm (so they could do double duty in M&P Metal Comp).

I’ve ordered a Floyd’s Custom brass magwell for mine and will be interested to see the amount of clearance I get with the TF extensions.
I may me up having to remove a little brass to get the clearance I need. -

I started shooting USPSA back in ‘94 with a 1911 out of my duty rig.
Later I transitioned to my EDC set up, and then started gaming.Never stopped having fun, and watched my overall shooting skills progress as I shot/competed more.

Funny that I see this now, as yesterday I did a g00gle search and came up with an older thread recommending @aandabooks hangers.
I just ordered one off eBay (2” wide model) to use with a 5198 1911 holster.

Mods I added:
- Dawson sights
- Glockstore pure tungsten guiderod w/17# spring

That's it. It shoots pretty well. It returns well and the extra weight helps settle out the iron sights a bit better. I don't get any muzzle dip (dolphining).
Stock Gen5 triggers are pretty good so no need to mess with that. I ran a Dawson Ice magwell for a bit but it was actually slowing down mt reloads because it was harder to get my support hand back on the grip well. So I ditched it.
What tungsten weights and putty did you use?
How much weight were you able to add with just this?

Yes, most definitely.
Tapatalk is a very useful UI for me that I spend a lot of time in, due to being an admin on a local 2A enthusiast board.

Yup, I bought a new red label G34 Gen5 a couple months back and it came with a (-) as well. -
I know that the Metalform mags work so well that I had one lifted at a match once....

I had to bend the stock (-) connector inward on my G5 due to rubbing on frame.
I also had to do some slight trimming in the area circled in the pic due to the bar not going far enough rearward to release the striker.

I’d be adding a blue label to the stable but Springfield Armory had to go and announce the SA-35….
