I shoot at all of the clubs out here. We are very fortunate to have as many clubs as we do. 2-3 ICORE clubs and at least 5 USPSA, I can shoot every weekend as long as sign up for them no later than 1 minute after they open on practiscore [emoji3]. There's also the added benefit of watching and learning from a lot of Grand Masters and Masters in all divisions.

I live in Orange County California. But can't make it on the weekends.
I'm retired, and keep my weekends free for my family. Where are you located?
Arizona. I'll ask my friend to see if he might be able to meet up with you, I'll send you a PM.

I'll be at the Titan 300 at Pala next weekend if you want to try it out.

What state are you in?Got one I can try? -
No problemWhy don't both of you watch the attitudes? -
No need to talk talk something that you have never used, that's my point.

I'm assuming that you've tried their kit to base your opinion?

The DAA will wear the finish off around the front of the trigger.

I have shot other people's 9 major guns and they are not even close to the same feel as minor. They hit a lot harder than 9 minor and ever most 38 supers and I know of at least 5 that have cracked their slides. I will say that I don't know what loads they were using for the ones that I shot, so there might be some that don't recoil as hard, I'm not saying that I'm an expert, I just know that I wouldn't shoot 9 major. I wouldn't have any problem with 9 minor though. I doubt they are going to change the power factor though.

I'm a little biased though..

Hmm.. V-Comp

The best thing about the 10mm magazines is that you can also run factory length ammo without any problems, at least I never had any issues

Patriot defense, great company to deal with

No problems running those magazines, like he says though, check what OAL your barrel will take.

Thank you, I'm running a hybrid barrel with a 10lb spring currently, but I'm going to test 11,12,& 13lb this weekend. I'm also going to try 155's again..

I'm still in the process of finding the correct spring rate for this load because of the dot bounce.

I've used it in 38 super with awesome results, but I've only been using V N320 with 165 bullets in my open 40. I like it because it's cleaner and I also use it for other calibers. Blue Dot works great with comp guns though.

It's your preference, most people like to use the narrow (.09) with a . 110 or . 125 front. Order it from Protocol Design here, they are well made, I run his front and rear sight on mine.

Don't forget that this was the first year that Western States allowed, and differentiated divisions, and it is a level 1 match. This year they decided to call it an outlaw match. I'm all for it, we get an ICORE match with USPSA scoring and targets! My ICORE friends still can't figure out the scoring though..

I used to use the "not competitive" excuse until I purchased the practiscore AP. Now I just combine my scores with single stack and production. I chose not to shoot Revo in level 2&3 matches because there's never enough people in this division, and for the higher costs of these matches, if rather have a small chance of winning something in my class. If 2 more Revo shooters signed up for Northern Arizona, if change to Revo in a heart beat. Last year I believe that we had 5 Revo shooters, but I only had 1 627 at the time and I had converted it to open for ICORE.
Must USPSA shooters love to watch is shoot Revo, but just like everyone has already stated, they don't think that they would be competitive. At least we're not bringing a rifle to a pistol match [emoji3]

DQ someone because of common sense, or someone who can argue the rule?

8.5.1 says that as long as you're "aiming" or shooting at a target, it's acceptable. Since aiming is not defined in the rule book, I believe that it can be argued easily when it comes to movement, unloading and loading at clearly defined though. I just had this debate with another guy at a match.

If you really want it done correctly, you should contact a local heat treatment company. All metals are not created equally and require different temperatures and processes for heat treating. They will need to test your parts to see what type it is before they can tell you anything.
