Care to elaborate?
So I have a 4moa dot, at 200 I'm dead on at 300 I hold slightly high say top 3rd of a silhouette at 400 I know my bullet drops 4 minutes therefore I hold dot over the target. This works for me out to 500 after that I can't see the smaller targets.

50 yard zero, not enough hold over/under to matter as stated above. At 300 plus I use the dot to measure my hold overs.
-
Have you thought about a SWFA fixed power scope? They are really good scopes starting at 300 bucks.

My brother in law has a sendero In 300 ultra, he has added a muzzle brake and a timmney trigger. It is a very nice rifle and much more pleasant after he added the brake.
-
Shot groups and dot torture drills with my pistol and shot my .22rifle. Used the .22 for trigger control and breathing etc. also shot some really small targets at 30 yards with it and some odd positions.

I have the LNL AP and it's just an okay press, i have to tinker with it pretty regularly mostly with the priming system. I thought I would like it for the fast changeovers but I only load 9mm and .223 for Multigun. All precision rifle gets loaded on the rock chucker and I still have to FL size my 223 brass on my rock chucker. I was disappointed that the case feeders are finicky and require constant tuning. To do it over again I would save a little longer and get the 650.

I settled on Varget and a 120 grain bullet for my 260. Had good results with H4350 and bullets as light as 95 grain for varmints.

I use a light coat of medium slide glide and has never given me trouble, I could see a problem if it was over applied with slide glide heavy. I clean and reapply every few thousand rounds.

I have a Magpull MOE and put a small piece of Velcro (the soft side not the hooks) inside the stock to put pressure on the buffer tube. It eliminated the slop and was a pretty cheap solution.

I have a 18" Nordic and it's awesome, flat and fast. I don't think the length hurts on the close up hoser type stage, it really shines on the long range stages. My local match shoots to 500+ regularly. I have seen a lot of limited shooters with a 14.5-16" barrel with a prismatic for the 3 gun nation style stages. I guess it really depends on the style of match the OP is intending to shoot, or build two different uppers.

Is there lube on the connector? I use a little slide glide on mine and it makes a big difference.

That's perfect thanks, those will be way easier to see. The blank ones made it really hard to see I would loose focus on my front sight and watch the target and my groups would go to crap.
-
Chuck that's exactly what I was looking for thanks. Thanks for the suggestion's from everyone else, they are all good options.

I was shooting some dot drills today and was having some trouble seeing the targets.I was at an indoor range with poor lighting. I got the targets from Ben Stoeger's website and they are just a black line on white paper. I was looking for a solid 2" circle so it will contrast on the white paper. Anybody have a pdf file they would care to share?

Red Dot, Unique and Power Pistol have worked well for me. Power Pistol is snappy and noticbley louder though. I plan on giving Tight Group a shot when my local store gets more in stock.

I hooked my finger when I started shooting, I have no idea why. Then one day after a practice session one of the better local shooters gave me a short course on proper grip. After that and watching P. Kelly's and Bob Vogels videos about grip and several dry fire sessions my grip has completely changed. I now and have less front sight wobble and am able to manage recoil better allowing me to shoot faster. I have been watching people's grip closer at my local matches and have noticed that none of the top ten finishers hook the trigger guard.

Well I got to the range Friday after work, my best group of 5shots off hand were 1.5" at 10yards and around 5" at 25 yards. I wasn't able to shoot off a rest because it was an indoor range. I think the 25 yard group was opened up because of me. I haven't practed much at 25 but am adding it to my practice schedule.
Shot a local falling steel match this weekend and I had no trouble hitting 8"plates at 20 yards when I did my part of of course.

The cast lead bullets are .356 and are from SNS castings. Not sure on the plated ones I need to check those with my calipers.

Great videos by Patrick Kelley and Bob Vogel. I use captains of crush for grip strength training and a sand bag for a workout, not a fancy crossfit bag but a bag of sand from Home Depot wrapped in a trash bag and duct tape. By the time I'm done with a workout my hands and forearms are on fire! I have seen a larger improvement by fixing my technique than I have by focusing on strength alone.

Well I pulled a few loaded rounds and I think I am over crimping, the bullets had a visible ring around them where they were crimped. So I backes off my crimp and am going to do a ladder test with power pistol. If the weather is nice I am going to get back to the range tomorrow morning and shoot some groups again.

Yeah after some research on plated here they seem to be hit and miss per pistol and per batch. Saw a lot of posts discussing the inconsistency of the plating causing inaccuracy and flyers.

Well I got to the range today after work and did some group shooting. I had a load of 3.6 grains of red dot and a 125grain coated lead flat point and another load of 4.8 grains of power pistol with a 125grain Xtreme plated, all with mixed brass and CCI primers. My best group was 1.5" at 15 yards with the coated load and 8 inches with the plated bullet load. I did not have access to a 25 yard range today.these groups were not shot from a rest. I need to figure out a load for the plated bullets, have 1400 more sitting on my loading bench.

Years ago we did some testing with Glocks up at the Apple Valley gun club after the Bullseye shooters put in a Ranson rest. It was bolted to a 2 foot diameter concrete base, really nice. I had to buy the grip adapters, but the results were interesting. We used hand loaded 125 Montana Gold JHPs on top of 3.5 grains of TiteGroup at 1.155" OAL. At 25 yards the two OEM barrels held 2" and smaller groups for 6 shots, and my two hand fitted BarStos held 1.3" or less.
Wow those are some impressive groups, have read some other threads and am going to go over my reloads. Current load is a 124 xtreme plated over power pistol, cci primer and mixed range pickup brass. Goin to try less crimp and a ladder test for powder. Also more and more dry fire practice.

I went with a Gen 4 for the adjustable backstrap. As for recoil springs/guide rods check out Jäger performance you won't be disappointed.
