The safety fits and drops in ttill it hits the spring (on the slide). Then it feels like it is hitting something below. I can depress the spring so the safety would clear and drop in but it seems to be hitting something. No amount of wiggling gets it to move from this depth. Another thing is that since the slide was cerakoted I had to polish the safety to get it to drop thru at the back above the grip safety. I wondered if the paint no matter how thin pushed the safety forward some causing it to hit the internals? Don't know; just wanted to check to see if I was being told the "right" that it had to be fitted. $60 bucks later...

I recently bought a Colt Defender and want to add a Wilson extended thumb safety. I'm told this is a gunsmith fit to make it happen. I noticed since the frame is cerakoted it does not fit like the factory one. I can't for the life of me get it to fit in place of the factory safety.... Help advise please.

Zev shows a custom FED Socom but not much on a "stock" version. The custom looks awesome, more bronze than FDE. I've seen some images of the FDE and it looks like it shows dirt really bad.

Does anyone have any expeirence with the coating on a Zev slide? Thinking of buying a FDE Socom slide. All the images I see on the web don't show any used guns. Pictures would be appreciated!

I assume everyone knows; but the -1 was the 357 caliber...

Can some one tell me what the ID on the cylinder should measure on my 640-1? I shot it today and all 5 cylinders had the case expanded making them difficult to remove from the cylinder. Reloads I purchased some time back so I'm not sure if it is the bullet or the gun.

I,m looking for a good slide rack that fits in the rear sight track, left hand operation... Glock 34 slide.

So I got the Neumount and just mounted it. I like it a lot, clean, easy to mount and it does not take up a lot of space on the slide. No modifications to interfere with the ejection port. Seems to be solid, have not shot it yet to see how it holds zero. The company has been awesome to deal with! For $75 I think this is a great deal. Other mounts are over $100 that I looked at. Options with color/finish. "I like it"!

Anyone have any expeirence with the PDW collapsible stock. They look awesome I'm just wondering about how the function.

I recently purchased a Neumount CMore mount for my Glock 34. I have not recieved it yet but I have had a very good conversation with the owner of the company. He called to make sure I was getting the right mount for my style of CMore. I am very impressed and have not gotten a thing from Neumount. I liked the ease of installation and the cost. Everything else I found needed some sort of modification to the slide. This is plug and go and seems to be smaller than anything else I've looked at. Anyone else have any experience with this mount?

I've heard $200 for another stamp but that does not include lawer fees. Does anyone know of a ATF document that addresses this topic?

I was told this weekend that if I don't have my SBR in a living trust that once I die the gun goes to the Government. It can not be passed along to a family member with out this in place. Is this true? No one said anything about this to me when I got my stamp. Supposedly I will have to file for another stamp on the same gun with the trust attached.

Every thread I read I hear about lead, supported and how one brand is better or worse than the other. One thing I've never seen anything on is switching to a threaded barrel and if it improves accuracy not with the brand of barrel but with an added .72 " inch of barrel. Does it matter; seems to me it would be a pretty big thing to have the added length.

I have an STI Edge that I love and would love to do a build on my own/with help. I would like to purchase a complete frame from someone or Shooters Connection then start looking for and upper. Either purchase complete from a manufacturer or pick something up on this forum. Even if I could buy components then have them all assembled by a pro. Whatever get me to my end goal with the least amount of money and the most amount of experience. Does anyone have a BOM or any other guidelines to what fits what?
