  1. Too hard to get my head around....When the timer beeps and my IQ rolls back to that of an ape... I can think speed OR I can think accuracy, how does a caveman think hit factor???? ( Tongue in cheek guys, I know Mark gets it ) Get as many points as fast as possible = maximize time-on-target from stable shooting positions as close as possible.
  2. Do they still point well if you have had a broken nose and the bridge of your nose isn't straight so your glasses don't sit perfectly straight?
  3. Are there any timers that are super loud (like the screaming meanie alarm clock... 120 db) or that have a really strong vibration?
  4. What is the best method for first person video? I'm looking at getting the Pivothead HD glasses. They make ansi standard lenses and the camera is right between your eyes. I've seen people with cameras on top of their hat or on their ear muffs, but that seems bulky to me. Are there other brands similar to pivothead? http://www.pivothead.com/technology/originals/
  5. Add this onto the 9" barrel and now you have a ~9" sight radius! http://taylorfreelance.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15&products_id=75&zenid=sgdqsp3ha0j0vi1u3cmrk6f5o0 Hmm, says it is for the threaded barrel. ETA: Massad Ayoob apparently shoots the G26 better than the G34. http://dailycaller.com/2014/06/02/massad-ayoob-are-long-barreled-handguns-more-accurate/
  6. Hearos jumbo foam plugs + howard leight slim ear muffs Hearos are good quality foam plugs with very good decibel reduction and they expand nicely many many times after taking them out.
  7. Are weights attached to the barrel legal? Like making the end of it bull barrel sized?
  8. Is there a holster I can pull straight forward from? The racemaster looks like it has a barrel pipe thingy. Is that optional?
  9. I might try it. The recoil impulse would be longer it. I'd definitely need a race holster! More weight out front seems like a good thing.
  10. I have a glock 35 but the glock 24 has a .7" longer barrel and slide. There's replacement barrels that are 9" for the glock. Wouldn't that mean less recoil and more fps Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. What is the maximum barrel length is USPSA limited? Would an extended barrel provide an advantage?
  12. You disagree with your earlier post? If I can shoot as much as I want, I can get a lot more than six shots on strings 2 and 3. That means that on strings 2 and 3, I can easily make up for my misses on string 1. Not sure I follow you. How did I contradict myself? Your second post talks about getting getting more shots than required.
  13. I thought better of myself after I checked your USPSA page and seeing as how I didn't see anyone but my squad shoot. But I know on my squad that some people took extra shots and`were not penalized.
  14. My interpretation is correct based on the official scoresheet. Extra shots are -10 and LATE shots are only -5. https://www.uspsa.org/classifiers/09-01.pdf

  16. How is this supposed to be scored? The classifier cm 09-01 (six in six) says 2 shots per target, mandatory reload, 2 shots for the first string, and then 2 shots per target each for the next two strings. Does that mean the shots per target is limited 8 for the stage (like virginia), or is the shots per target unlimited (like comstock)? Rule 9.4.5 says extra shots AND extra hits = procedural penalty. In my match today, people weren't penalized for taking more than 24 shots. If the shots per target is unlimited, then most of the holes will be from the 3rd string, not the first. Would a procedural be issued if on the first string, the competitor only shot at target T1, on the second string, only at T2, and on the third string, only at T3? Also, fixed time is not a good scoring system for people who can't hear the beep.
  17. The time for a slide lock reload is the same as for a standard reload, at least if your hands are big enough to reach the slide release. So if you're shooting production, if shooting 5 targets and then reloading would be faster than 4 with a reload before moving on, then do a slide lock reload. In any event, you should be counting your rounds so you know what's coming.
  18. What about this? http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?groupid=2547&name=Royal+Arms+Custom+Glock+Trigger And is the only way to order from Johnny by phone?
  19. I'd prefer to keep it under $150, but I want the best feeling trigger I can get... or closer to a 1911. I was wondering what the vendors are and what people use. I know about zev and pyramid because they are sold on brownells, midwayUSA and glockstore. Why did you pick johnnyglocks?
  20. I'm looking to upgrade my stock 35 and I want a better trigger. I also need to get sights and a magwell.
  21. A mini ATV would be awesome instead of the wagons/strollers people use. Like one of these: http://www.minipocketrockets.com/mini-atv-scorpion/
