  1. I've been to a number of "big" matches over the last 3 years. I've recieved cash (helped with expences) prizes (also helped with other expences) But the things I prize the most are the plaques and trophys I've recieved. 95% of the matches I've shot all of the big dogs have been there. I don't believe they were attending for the cash I believe it to be for the love of the sport. Certianly they put in a lot of effort to be the best. I try to put in a lot of effort also. But probably not anywhere near what they put out. And I believe effort should be rewarded being in whatever form. I seriously don't believe anyone is going to get rich shooting this sport. If it was about the money you'de only have 20 to 30 shooters attending the matches and guys like me looking for something else to do.

  2. I've never shot an M&P so I can't compare them. I do however own 2 XD's 4in 9mm and a 40tac. that I used in compitition. Production Lim-10 and yes Lim. about 15 to 20000 rounds on it and the only faults I've had were user error. If I could I'de carry it all the time for defense. Put you mind at ease.

  3. I cracked up when I first heard it too. Still gives a smile when I hear it. Good tv no. Funny tv yes. I see a bit of Monk in everyone I meet. Thats what makes it so funny.

  4. I smoked for 26 years. And it was a money thing with me, I quit when I couldn't afford it any more at 2.00 a pack 11 years ago I was smoking a car payment a month. If you look at it that way it might help. How I did it was on a wednesday I told myself that by the next wednesday I would quit. Last cig. was that wednesday morning, chewed 3 pieces of nicotine gum and never looked back. You can do it if you put your mind to it. Take it from a 2 pack a day smoker. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!!!

  5. Got my PM9 sitting beside me. Great gun. It has a problem, shoots fine, but it will lock back about a 1/4 from slide lock when your racking the slide in dry fire. So it's going back this week. I'll be saddened because it goes everywhere with me. Hope it comes back soon. :)

  6. Okay here's my entry.

1.As a shooter your most important job is to see what you need to see.

2.A goal of practice should not be. Shoot as many rounds down range as you can. You should learn something new from each practice.

3.Whatever you are trying. Experience it, learn from it, refine it, use it.

  7. I think the question was. What else have you seen ? Walking planks more than 2 steps off -10. Grate bridge over water (blue tarp ) step off -10 And others I can't remember. I think that things like these add to the technical difficulty of the cof and should make us better shooters. IE: 10 stages with 16 open targets at 10 yards wouldn't be very fun now would it ?

  8. Wow Bob you and I are so different. That tingling feeling as you call it is one of my favorite things when I'm in pain.

Boba: I haven't used it long term as in on all the time. I purchased my own and use it every time I have pain and it works for me. (floorcovering installer 20+years) lower back and siatica. They work different on some people you may not get any relief from it or you may love it like I do. Try it. If it works it's a plus NO DRUGS.. Good luck with it and let us know..
