  1. Just did the $0.25 polish job with a dremel and although everything feels smoother the trigger won't reset consistently when manually racking the slide. This happens every other time I rack the slide. I'm very new to Glocks (Sig guy normally) so I'm not sure what part of the trigger assembly isn't grabbing. Did I overpolish something? Does the safety plunger grab the top of the trigger bar when the slide comes forward or is it the striker?

  2. I'm the only one in my orientation class (12 ppl) and in 3 matches that has shot a Sig. Everyone seems to have a Glock, or CZ for Production. My guess is a combination of the DA/SA and price tag. There are also less aftermarket options. For my P226 no one but Bruce Gray makes a target rear sight. I had to cut out a piece of black electrical tape to cover the dots as I hate standard 3 dot systems.

I have however purchased a Glock 34 that I plan on using very soon. I prefer the consistency of the trigger pull and I find I am actually more accurate with it.

  3. Ended up going with the blade tech OWB sting ray for gen 4. The main reason being price and I can switch between offset and standard by simply adjusting the mount. We'll see how it goes, pick up the gun on Tuesday ie: forever from now

  4. I have reloads that I will not be firing for a while, looking for tips for storage.

Container, desiccant, where to store, how long, etc.

I store all my ammo in a generic tool box from Walmart that I purchased for $10. I can fit about 2.5-3k in there. As long as you keep it from moisture and extreme temperature changes it should be fine in any type of sealed plastic

  5. His Boss hanger is out of stock for a while I thought was his last post. But yes above on your last post Jay that should work but why are you using Amazon when SC usually has them and they support us

I won a gift card at work for $50 so I'd like to use that

  6. I shoot IPSC/USPSA Limited Minor with my Tanfoglio Elite Match 9mm. LOVE IT!!! It has the rail, gives a little added muzzle weight which I like. Deadly accurate. Henning Walgreen in Colorado has any upgrade you'll ever want for it as your budget can handle. Can be purchased in 9mm, 40s&w, 38super, 10mm, or 45acp and converted to any of 6 calibers including .22 with slide/barrel/mag conversion kits. Super smooth action with very crisp trigger. Many have compared the Elite Match to custom guns costing 2-3 times as much. I purchased 10 extra 9mm mags, factory 17rnd, installed Henning's extended base pads (140mm) on three of them for 21 round capacity. Still have 6 unused factory 9mm mags. uploadfromtaptalk1400108645634.jpg

An awesome Limited gun or entry level Open gun you can build on.

I'm pretty new to some of these manufacturers. Are tangfolio based off CZs?

  7. Whatever is close by and you have the gear for. You'll find helpful people anywhere. With the guns you named, IDPA would definitely be doable, just be sure to have 3 mags.

Agreed. Especially if you're going to be using your EDC I think IDPA is a good start. They're based on 'real world' scenarios and would be fairly cheap to get into considering you need far less equipment
