I have 2 9mm stock 2's. One cycles without a problem, while the other occasionally stovepipes. It sometimes will go for awhile, then maybe something like 2-3 in 100 rounds. I replaced the extractor just hoping something simple like that would fix it, and it feels like it has good tension, but didn't stop it. Comparing the two now, the problem one has a significantly longer ejector.
Problem gun : 2017, probably an 8# or 9# recoil spring, shorter ejector
Non-problem gun: 2018, probably a 10# or 11# recoil spring, longer ejector
Same ammo for both, 125gr moly making 140 PF
That being the most notable difference between the two, I'm thinking of cutting the ejector shorter. Before I do so, I just wanted to seek others thoughts on this, and see if anyone has noticed anything similar, etc.?
