I would stick with Super, I carry a Dan Wesson Guardian in 38 Super and I can buy self defense ammo at my local gun shop (well I could)
-
If you get bored, try a fixed time classifier
-
Thanks for all this, I love it
-
Can it have a 38 Super cylinder too???
-
My local ACE has a few drawers that are even marked "Gun Screws"

Welcome from another 1911Addict member

I have a 627 in 38 Super and TK Smith & Wesson 929 9mm OEM Moon Clips STD B/S, work perfectly with almost all brands of brass.
I have a totes full of brass and don't even sort it, sometimes I get a round that is too loose and I just toss into a box to shoot out of my 1911s

IS there an easy way to change the weight of the bullet? Using the phone app
Friday I tested 14 loads and 2 of them were different weights then the rest, I ended up leaving the unit on 200gr and did the math for the 230s when I got home
-
I do not think there is a way to Arm the unit from your phones app.
I going to play with mine in a minute and Ill check it out, whats frustrating for me is changing the weight of the bullet.
I went to the range Friday and tested some 200gr bullets vs 230gr and I would like the app to ask me what grain bullet im using.
All I do is type in the FPS into a spreadsheet I made and it calculates the PF for me

I put the comp 4 to 6 inches downrange of the unit

This happened to my buddies 929 and it took like 6 months when he sent it to S&W.
By the time they even looked at it, months had passed and then they realized it was a Performance Center gun so they had to send it to that department and the wait started all over again.
-
Are you going to reload for it?
-
I reload them in Short Colt and 38 Super for my 3, 627s
-
Yes I am using Redding micro dies, Thanks for the advice
-
Reloading for my S&W 627 in 38 Super, .358 blue bullet, 160 gr. Dillon 650. I have tried the 38 Super/9mm powder drop/flare and 38 Special.
Both of them lead to me shaving a bit of coating off the bullet when seating, no matter how much flare I have.
I have read about Mr. Bullet Feeder and Uniquetek
Any recommendations?
Thank you,

Where is the spring on the wishbone for the lock? Are you sure the wishbone isnt moving forward a bit and allowing the lock to contact the hammer? Or allowing the lock to engage?

We also have a great time in Polo IL

I have been installing, Apex, TK Diamond and even carving up stock hammers in N frames and all are around 5LB trigger pulls with Wilson Combat springs. Of course we all use federal primers

Are you ever going to have them in stock again for N frames?
